So.. humanity tried to barricade themselves inside the walls of the “safest city” without access to the outside, and created the bacteria that started to kill and destroy everything after being made to take care of their trash rather than finding more sustainable alternatives that wouldn’t make as much. They relied on technology to distance themselves more and more from the issues of the world that THEY created until the technology was all that remained. The city was diseased and getting worse because of the efforts made by humans. It’s really telling that to solve the zurk problem all they needed was natural sunlight, because you finally realize how unnatural the city was completely walled off on every side taken out of the environment of the natural world.

While it was cute and adorable, this game is a very clever call to action regarding todays real world problems (edit: just unpaused after it ended and Sean basically said the same thing LMAO), such as the pandemic and climate change. The concept of this happening isn’t as crazy and futuristic as many might believe, and we may end up sharing the same fate if we don’t actually take steps to solve our problems rather than isolate, create new ones, and end up being the reason for our own extinction.

On a lighter note, I loved watching Sean play this and I hope that ginger got to reunite with his cat family after losing b-12.

I was worried that this concept would be poorly executed but you can really see all the hard work and effort put into this game to make it happen. Such an amazing game

I love this game so much! It reminds me of my cat that I rescued 5 mins before he was supposed to be put down.
His name is Umbri, he’s a bombay. As a barncat he learned to trap rabbits who try to eat from our garden, Keeps the mice population under control, and even killed a racoon. He’s my brave little guy and I appreciate him so much..but sometimes acts a little too human😅
There’s a video of him strutting like a panther on my channel if anybody wants to see.

The entire concept of the game is outstanding. Normally, if we will play as animals we get to roam around and do mayhem – Untitled Goose Game and Goat Sim. But mixing it with these kinds of stories, as well as the environment being almost entirely interactive and you can see how massive the area is makes it worth it.

This is by far my favorite game! Its the only game that made me get a huge connection with characters that didn’t even speak. If you didn’t cry when B12 “uploaded” himself and the kitty showed companionship and sadness at its “death” are you even human?! I’m hopeful there will be a sequel where momo, clementine and the cat see each other again and experience the outside.
