I love how the protagonist is a cat for this!! It’s such a minor detail for the story, but such a pivotal part of how we _experience_ the world. It could have the same characters, same plot, same everything but had we been a human? Everything would be different.
Something about being a cat, and how questionable our intelligence actually is, just adds that extra flair a story like this needed. Being a third party to the downfall of humanity and having to roll with the punches you had no part in just makes the tragedy of it all worse.
But that’s the beauty of it all, isn’t it? _It’s not a tragedy._ It’s the painful but ultimately hopeful recovery after a tragedy that leaves you with a melancholic taste in the back of your mouth.
Also, bonus points for the foreshadowing that final sacrifice took. Every step along the way, you lost someone so you could go further, go Outside. But the fact that they’re fine at the end of it all, and B-12 isn’t? Feels like a punch to the gut.

2 things about the game. can’t customize the cat. the ending was lacking something and left me wanting more. they could have at least reunited the cat with its pack. unless there’s gonna be a stray 2 to answer that? edit: can’t stop thinking about this game

this was great! a game basically about a cat wanting to go outside, he should have turned after a few seconds and gone back in 😉
the robots were funny and the small quests amusing.
the last scene with B-12 was pretty sad however
