I’d love it if they came out with a DLC or just another game where you either hunt down your siblings or maybe play one of your siblings on their journey to find you.
I’m seeing different comments about people wanting this game to have been longer, and I honestly agree with Sean here. I think it was the exact length it needed to be from both a writing perspective and a gameplay perspective. If it had gone on much longer, what else would there be to do? Fight more Zurks? That was only meant to be a small portion anyway, seeing as Midtown didn’t have to deal with them. Meet up with the other cats from the beginning? Maybe, but who’s to say those cats stuck around? Or maybe they met a similar fate to our cat? Honestly, I would’ve been more surprised to see a reunion (and it might very well have broken the immersion).
The game did what it did well, it created a world, told a story, but only enough details to give us an idea of what’s going on, and left us to do the rest. It said what it needed to say, and then it left. So many games these days try to take a concept that works and run with it as far as they possibly can, killing the meaningfulness of the story and the interest in the world. Sequels upon sequels upon prequels upon sequels. But this game didn’t. I hope there isn’t a sequel for that reason, because if there is a sequel, it’ll diminish the value of this story. The game is like OneShot in a way, because there are no sequels to it, and it holds a special place in the hearts of many because it said what it needed to and left. Now, I haven’t gotten the chance to play the updated version so I’m not sure if that still holds up, but only having played the original part, it left me with a similar impression that I can tell Stray will now leave me with. 🙂
It’s okay for a game to not have a sequel or a longer, more-detailed plot. It just adds to the wonder.
Hey, jack!! just finished watching this video and this is the second best video game that I like also I really enjoyed how you have a lot of theory on this game and the small detail about how the developer made it that maybe we didn’t notice. you mention that your health condition it’s not very well :(, don’t overwork jack maybe have a little hiatus or something because your health is number one. Everyone would get really sad if you got sick :/. Thank you for playing this game and yeah be happy 😀
Aaaaa I can’t handle the open ending going on
B 12 is in the system again
I love this very much I have cats of my own and 1 of them actually acts like this well tries to at least
if i had to play a cat game it would definitely be this one 🙂
I love the entire ending sequence. I’m in the same boat where I love sterile environments, white and red is such a good colour combo. And that whole roof opening part was magical to witness, I loved it. Only sad part is that there is no post game of going back to the lab to rebuild B12s body
omg i loved this game. the layout of the cities and everything was magnificent. truly in awe. and i wish we could have had more of a glimpse of the world because i know without all the pollution and deforestation, greenery would take over where it can
What a masterpiece this game 🎮 👏!
I am beyond glad Jack played it,it was such Jacksepticeye sort of game! 🥰🐈🐈
if you have the button F12 it can take screenshots
I pirated this game because it’s single player. I loved it so much that I’m going to buy it just to support the devs. Incredible experience 10/10
amazing game tho I do wish that we got to see ginger find his friends again!! I wanted to see a cute cat reunion!
I think that’s the most overtly political rant I’ve heard Jack ever go on there at the end
All the time I played this, I never thought that a scene needed vr more!
Jack talking about BB and getting excited about cat things in this is just extream ADHD mentality which makes sense but like… cats and ADHD people, we are the same. Even down to the sensory overload protection box.
LOL it took Jack that long to realize it wasn’t in the window
You think this cat is like a human my cat literally says hello but he yells HEWO!?!?
i love these one-breath played games. The amazing scenery and your amazing commentary. wish we got to see the world at the end of it! I hope more games like this come out soon! this game was even better then FAR series you recently played. thanks for the amazing content as usual!!
The devs definitely watched their cats, and made sure to check off the cute and quirky things they do
