Anyone else think that B-12 is possibly still alive and that’s what that spark was at the end, possibly? Like he ended up in the computer he was hacking
He just really blinked at the camera at the end… my heart
That game reminds me of a 5 star film beautiful
the game ended on a cliffhanger so there might be a stray 2 game
I have a personal philosophy for games and that’s, I would rather want to play more of a game when its over, then be bored of it before its done. this game is a good example of that. It knows its limits and doesnt overstep them.
in the clothing store where you steal a jacket, the same jacket momo wears is inside it to the right!
I have a theory about the giant eyeball goop, we never really got much about that. I mean, no one seems to know the ultimate fate of the humans who lived in the city…
Jack was finally jailed for Cat Crimes
in part 2 one of the trash picking bots at the tree city sayss “some people call this trash, me i call them treasures” and thats a reference to the barter in skyrim,
Where is Trover Saves the universe part 4? You never finished the game
Game of the Year 2022: Stray
I hope he found his friends
This game was amazing. From the art to the textures to the characters to our perfect perspective as a cat…Definitely going into my top 10.
Day 16 of asking jack to play / check out the game The Isle. Hopefully he’ll see me doing this before I reach 50. Please help this blow up so he might see it.
About cats and boxes, the reason they like boxes so much its because they evolved to be stealth, both for safety and hunting reasons. The boxes give them an immense sense of safety, like nothing can hurt them there, i dont think theres anything similar on human behavior i could use for comparison… Maybe if we could become invisible? Thats how a cat feels when they’re inside a box.
This was a nice series thank you for the gameplay! Really does have incredible details and great story telling
It’s hilarious listening to his reasoning for loving that this game wasn’t just a game about a cat which I agree with, and immediately seeing a Kotaku article saying “Stray should have just been about cats” oh kotaku…never change
I played through this game twice in the two days I’ve had it and I still wanna play it again this was such a delightful game and honestly it’s now up there as a real favorite of mine.
”ive never seen a full back to the future movie start to finish”
*what?!* how could you say such a thing? thats just blasphemy of the highest degree, and your punishment is to watch all three movies back to back one day with popcorn and the whole shebang. Man i thought you were one of the cool people, how wrong i was. how wrong i was. smh
but no seriously, you should binge watch them sometime with the missus, you wont regret it i guarantee it.
I dunno if others have mentioned it, but I have a theory about the flicker at 1:46:02
Maybe, when B-12 used his last powers to open the city, he uploaded himself accidentally/on purpose onto the system once again. That flicker may have been a teasing signal that our best robot friend was not truly dead, and was watching over the cat as he/she got outside.
Mayhaps there is a sequel coming eventually, or some sort of short little ‘Finale’ to give us answers to possible questions left behind.

What happened to our other robot friends after the City opened and they had access outside? Momo, Clementine, Doc, etc.
Are the robots settling in well? What about the apparent social class system that they had, Slums and Midtown, all that… those rather human problems wouldn’t disappear suddenly because they now had free access to a whole lot more space. And what about those that accepted and seemingly wanted to stay within the City? Could there soon be basically the new Outsiders, just with the opposite goal, staying inside the City.
Are the all-too-human robots really humans uploaded into robot bodies?
(Other than B-12 that is.)
Clementine could have been a human scientist that created the plants that didn’t need sunlight, as a robot or two mentioned caring for the plants because that’s what the humans would have done… suggesting these plants already existed before the humans all died. Clementine could have then been uploaded, possibly without her human memories for some reason, and helped the Antvillage also use these plants.
This could also explain just how human these robots seem to be, with human problems.
Did our lovely procatonist find the other cats? How are they all doing?
And of course, is B-12 truly, actually dead, or just ‘stuck’ in the City’s system, waiting like before?
Are ALL humans dead?
If this is Walled City 99, are there… other ones? Ones that could possibly still house humans (or some sort of evolutionary next step of them seeing as so much time has passed)?
(Also, on a sidenote: If ‘no need for sunlight plant’ suddenly gets all the sunlight, what happens? Will it die? Is it able to photosynthesise as normal plants, just that it doesn’t necessarily need sunlight to survive?)
Sorry if I’m reading too far into it all, I’m just curious about it all hahah
