FGO needs to slam their foot down on this nonsense and pulp the hell out and find a way to transfer accounts to other servers it not like fgo is a online game. And for chine to produce games unedited for other countries but punish their own player base makes little economic sense if you want that sweet gotcha money.

My best guess for hasan is that they dont allow skeletons in chinese media, ans hasan’s mask might be the issue, but for further assentions???

The CE’s and busts are def because of the skin, the only time you can see that much skin in China is when you walk by the purple light districts and look thtough the windows.

The names, at least Blackbeard’s is probably because Criminals arent allowed to be heroes or win in Chinese media (the us had similar requirements for Hollywood 60 years ago)
Jack probably because of the association with the serial killer.
Mesuda, I have no clue. My best guess, the CCP is in league with Aphrodite, and really wants to kick that poor gorgon while she is down. (historically she was only cursed because people compared her to aphroditie and made the goddess ngry)

As a victim of BGO (As you may have previously heard, Mr. Kita, the Chinese version of FGO since the proxy is Bilibili.), I may help explaining the issue with a more thorough vision and a debriefed format after digging deep into it, and I think it’s somehow necessary to let the community know as well since we are all fans of Type-Moon.
This censorship incident is actually much more complicated than simply Chinese taboos around nudity or tattoos. More specifically, three aspects are involved behind this, which are Bilibili’s development plan, irrational reporting from those weirdos who want to involve political issues into it, and relevant audition regimes. Commencing with the first aspect, B (Abbr. of Bilibili) has been planning to develop itself into the Chinese version of Youtube, whereas one of the principles of such plan is to gradually marginalise ACG elements, even including BGO, the game that helped B to enter the market. This move eventually lead to the dissatisfaction of B’s competitors, and BGO, becomes the sacrifice of it to maintain B’s survival.
Turning to the second aspect, namely, many members from certain online forums overseas have been active in reporting BGO to achieve their objectives of cultivating hatred against CN government among CN players (They are even attempting to report Steam.). Honestly, as a mainland citizen, I also think that CCP sucks in some aspects, but not all. Besides, we ACG fans are here to have a good time with our waifus and husbandos, why involving politics into it? Bullshit.
The third, and also the last aspect is more related to most Westerners’ common impression on Chinese culture, which is somehow oppose to ACG culture. However, Chinese government has actually been more generous about ACG development recently, whereas it must be a Chinese IP (Genshin is a typical example). Hence, aiming at increasing the influence of other Chinese IP, BGO got backstabbed by B to allow more investment and dissemination for other Chinese made games.
