My first entry into TYPE-MOON was with CCC. A weird way, yes.

I saw Meltryllis on Google images one day, and I was intrigued. So, I searched where she was from; and now I’m here.

It’s been a long time. Only recently have I decided to be more passionate with my Melt love, but I always did love her. Her story was always so meaningful to me. A story of someone who had a horrible time with love but could still move forward, and find a better love.

And now, she’s here. Yes, she isn’t the main focus. Yes, she’s only here for a few frames; but they are meaningful.

She’s flying upwards, towards that light. That hand that extends for her.

To quote a specific story we all know….

“Even if my wings are broken, I’ll still fly to your aid.”

She’s honoring that promise. She’s flying towards that light, to fly to the aid of the one who saved her. She may not remember, she may not be the same as she was in SERAPH, but she is still her.

And I think that’s a beautiful way to end her story. From a monster with a twisted love, to a loving Prima Donna who would fly to the aid of the one she loves.

Thank you Nasu for creating such an amazing character.

That was incredible to listen to an OFFICIAL English version of the song. It’s so good!
This trailer just constantly reminds us that this is a story about reclaiming the future.
It’s also symbolic to see Mash about to take Guda/ko’s hand in the same way the heroes took the hands to eventually being summoned. Mash Kyrielight, the very first Servant of Guda/ko. What a ride seeing how far they’ve come.
