Another fun fact about Ishtar, because of her status as a love and fertility goddess, she was well known for waltzing around completely naked. I thought it was Takeuchi that wanted the gender swap. Nasu originally wanted a female main character having multiple male love interests, but Takeuchi knew that they needed a hit bigger than Tsukihime to be successful and didn’t think a female MC would be successful in the VN market then so he convinced Nasu to change it.
