Yes, this is indeed the shorter version. I have a lot of experience with the character so I will make a more detailed review in the future if the occassion pops up again.

Hi plushie daddy 🥺 koyan dark is hot but her dmg lacks when I tested her on jp. Will prob roll for her as a trophy wife and leave her there as I don’t find going more than np1 worth

There are 2 simple ways if they want to improve her. Give her S2 a 20% Charge for that targeted ally that also gives additional 30% Charge to Anima Allies so that the Cooldown is justified and make her a more competent Alternative, or for a better DPS, a 10% Powermod against Debuffed Enemies that scales per each Debuff they have

Late or not, it’ll be well received mate!

Much as it pains me to agree, Koyan Dark is indeed…. _mediorce-ish_ . She’s a powerful off-meta support that seemed tailor made for hybrid comps and gimmick teams, but being _forced_ to either be on a hybrid team or having to do Plugsuit Oberon + DKS is never a place a Servant wants to be in, all things considered. That’s not even getting into the fact that even her lowest econ hybrid comps are costly in terms mat investment, CEs, and overall time efficiency, which makes her an even tougher pill to swallow. Gimmick and odd ball teams are were she thrives best, and those by their very nature will never become so mainstream dominant.

What _really_ puts some screws to her, though, is the existence of Eresh , who competes within the same category as ‘Buster Earth Attribute Killer’ . She’s got an upgraded NP, pseudo-ramp between her S3 and NP, and a better Class overall to leverage the previous , as well as perhaps on of the best Arts Cards in the game to fall back on for NP Gen. Koyan Dark has more buffs overall, sure, but she’s in a bad Class for sweeping and has been shortcharged some of the things necessary for an Extra Class Attacker to truly excel, and doesn’t (and probably won’t, for awhile) have an NP Upgrade to patch things over.

You know, it’s kinda funny that we’ve had _two_ New Years Servants in a row that have been *thoroughly* underwhelming that were _so_ close to being the opposite. First DK’s kit being hamstrung, then Kirei being given AoE instead of ST and _also_ getting one of his Skills janked up. If this trend continues they’ll never be able to start the year off with a bang again, unless that’s the sound of shooting their Servant’s prospects and potential stone cold dead.
