If I want to use Ortinax Mash, who then is a good sub DPS Support hybrid to play with her, if not Himiko?
At first I did Ortinax Mash and Asterios and Osakabe for defence stacking + attack down shenanigans. But too slow and doesnt hold up as well in later harder fights.
Then in LB5.2, I did Ortinax Mash and Lakshmibai and a line of taunters for faster play. It generally works I guess.
So yeah I was eyeing Himiko as someone to play with Ortinax Mash in Buster Crits. High OC Ortinax Mash NP goes to like 40-50% Def up which sounds decent in non NP turns I guess.

Was never interested in her on JP during the first run & rerun & will never be on NA as well. Reasons: I don’t like her design & she’s just like the ruler version of Super Orion plus the 2+ overcharge bonus (getting through her NP), which can easily be obtained through skills by Dark Koyan/Vinci Rider/Lady Avalon now. My honest advice: Worth skipping!

But I need Saito and she’s unfortunately in the same banner even tho i don’t like anything about her

Love her design but I don’t really like her kit especially when the goal, at least for me personally, is min-turning CQs and other hard contents. It’s quite hard to use her if you are just a casual player.

I swear, this wouldn’t be an issue if I had managed to get Merlin in the summer 4 rerun. I have pretty much every Quick and Arts support I could need, but my best Buster supports are Shakespeare and…wait for it…Hijikata. Fucking Hijikata. All because of his S1. No one else on my roster comes remotely is useful for buster, except maybe Leonidas. Man, if only Koyanskaya was coming out this coming NY, I might be able to skip, but as things are now, I need at least some sort of buster support. Not to mention, I got Castoria, so if I can get Himiko, that’s the bossfight comp right there. Unfortunately, I’ll probably have to skip either Douman or Van Gogh, considering I gotta save my SQ for the crazy banners coming next year.

I think I’ll still roll for her cause sometimes I like taking 30 turns of zero damage. I don’t always wanna do that, but when I’m in the mood, it can be fun and Himiko is the best for that.

I want to save for Muramasa NP2+ & Taira NP1+

esports Himiko might be a bit niche but I feel like it’s still a lot more relevant/worthwhile than using her for stall comps anyway. A lot of the higher rng TAs make use of np5 Himikos even. Personally I’ll be rolling for her to keep at lvl 1 and hopefully get to a high NP level

good video, i was really 50/50 on rolling for her purely for utility sake but the info in this vid just convinced me way more to roll for douman or morgan
