this kinda reminds me of an old mobile game I played a couple years ago called Underhand. You basically run a cult and have to summon various gods to progress

I have to say, this video made me think of how incredible it would be if Tom and the Yogs did Call of Cthulhu on a semi regular basis. I’m sure there would be some logistical difficulties involved, and Tom’s workload could be quite hefty at times assuming he would be dming every session, but I can still dream XD.

Regardless, the handful of Call of Cthulhu sessions Tom has held over the years are probably my favourite things on YouTube. There’s a very specific feeling of nostalgia mixed with mystery and excitement to them (largely down the exceptional editing I’m sure), and there’s also the fact that they’re pretty hilarious at times (thanks in no small part to good old Professor Grizwald). Even if we never get any more, I’m sure I’m not the only one of Tom’s viewers who feels very grateful to have those old gems to return to every now and then.
