Tom managed to get a crystal holdable item at some point. And it seems items are randomly assigned if they aren’t put down. It looked like once a monster had a turn while holding the crystal it would discard the monster for next turn. This seemed to mess Tom over a few times, occasionally Bast would have the crystal and skedaddle meaning Bhole would kill the human. I think if Bhole has the crystal, Bhole’s effects were only triggering once and not the multiple it should have?

I love that Tom has now arranged for a an Egyptian god to shoot a child with a handgun, but keep them alive with her powers, twice. Then a gigantic worm eats the child, but it’s revived by Bast, but then the worm shoots the child with a shotgun and eats it again, but it’s revived again. This is great.

I was really tired and I must confess that I just heard Tom rumble about journalists and Eldrich gods while some sort of roulette was going on screen with numbers and candles.

10/10 I will watch again when I am not half dead.

Bast wasn’t working because when a card is destroyed, you draw a card
You have Bast in the last card slot, protecting the card in the first slot, so every card drawn goes in between them.
edit, you got it as I wrote this, but I’m leaving it cuz algorithm.
Actually I think it was making more happen, cuz it would kill the same thing twice and draw at least 2 cards, even if it did actually kill the card.
