I’m sure others have mentioned but this update gave Mumei a pretty hefty nerf. Feathers used to be even better.

Seeing that last upgrade Fail as he tries to pour yet another anvil into his one trick before the boss overwhelmed him was pretty funny, as I was unaware those COULD fail until that moment.

What happens if you focus the chatacyets specific items. Like with this character having the Civilization and friend stuff. Noticed that the little friend would attack and pick up the experience points for you. Was unsure if you noticed that or not Tom. Have a great day good sir

also, man, i went back to look at some of your older content too, because it seems that when i was in uni a few years back, i kinda stopped watching the yogs (apart from warhammer wednesdays when i can). what a mistake it was, i forgot how much i loved your videos with simon and lydia and simons PP too.

oh god, mumeis special, lets see how this goes… also mumei and fauna are two characters were gunning for the “awakened” base weapons is more than legit.
“gonna use this special on the boss” never change your non-reading ways, tom.
and yeah, mumeis special is basically like pentagram from VS, except it actually killing plebs, but not bosses, instead of just dealing set damage to everything.
huh, i didnt know Friend just gets permanent Spider Cooking too, i think i havent played Mumei that much. look at toms videos teaching me new things!

yes, knockback repels the swarms, which is kinda unfortunate at times, thats why i wait on the other maps until later to get that upgrade for spider cooking.
11:08 you can actually delete those “stage hazard enemies” that box you in or run fast at you with mumeis special too.
owls with axes feel like one step up from those asshole birds in Elden Ring
16:55 ah, used it to get out of jail free. very nice. also Kay Yu has shown on twitter that he can do _way_ worse than what he put into stage 1 hard mode.

really enjoyed the video, you’re getting smarter with your builds and picks too, one day might even read their description! the good thing is that i _believe_ there are no unlocks behind beating hard mode for now, though they’ve already shown another system to improve the characters based on achievements, basically.
recommending you try Roboco, shes super fun, *BUT BEFORE* playing her, you should *play Sana* as surviving 10min with her gives an unlock that works _really_ well with Roboco.
also shes just fun to play as in general.

This game is strange, one day the night level is impossible to get through, the next day and it feels like a cakewalk and you win every run. I hope new updates are still happening because I sorta ran out of things to do in this game, still great though just wish it had harder levels.

Putting levels in civilization might have killed the boss in time since that was a lot of missed damage. But otherwise great run and glad you’re enjoying the game!
