Here’s my take on the whole VShojo auditions issue:

Most job openings are public. If you’ve got an in or are already on their radar, it’s not hard or surprising when those people get hired over someone else. It’s how the free market works and it shouldn’t be considered any differently. VShojo is a business first, friend group second.

That being said, it would be nice for them to have a lesser known individual as something “new”, maybe even a completely new entity like how Nazuna was. (Also, I kinda hope that VSHOJO JPN will grow as well and not be forgotten, I feel like Nazuna and KSON could use some company)

On the topic of Haruka, Her welcome to VShojo stream was incredible and funny as hell. Much deserved with how things transitioned from the Lore video to the introductions. S tier content

Why does merch almost always just include T-shirts and Hoodies. Why not: Pants and Socks? You cant be expecting your viewers (who prolly never leave the comfort of thier home anyway) to be cold outside when they DO go outside. Plus, socks. Good when you have a less than ideal heated home.

I’m happy for Haruka but also right there with Emi about wondering why VShojo even bothered holding auditions. It’s been over a year and while I can’t speak for others my own audition has received absolutely nothing in the way of a response. I honestly never expected a ‘yes’ but would think I deserve the respect of a direct ‘no’ at the very least.
