Look i wont condemn ANYONE for what they do. I carry my LCP Max in a pocket holster AT ALL TIMES. But sometimes i put my P320 (Of all things) in my pocket but not to carry like that. If i need to free up my hands and my holster isnt nearby, i will empty my right pocket, ensure 100% that it IS INDEED empty and then ever so gently by holding the GRIP ONLY, slide my pistol in my pocket. I dont do this to run, bend down, jump juke or jive, or ANYTHING ELSE. Then once im ready, i grasp the grip ONLY, pull out on my pocket band with the other hand, lift the pistol ensuring the barrel is point AWAY FROM MY DICK, DUCK OR DOG, and lift easily and gently until the firearm is clear of my pocket. I know the reality of the consequences of shooting myself in the DICK, the duck or the dog even. Joke intended. But these are rare moments. And you wouldnt believe how my local FFLs (like 7) dont carry a holster for a Compact P320 .45 Auto.

I had a friend’s gun spontaneously go off while I was holding it finger off the trigger (thankfully aimed down range at our target.) Multiple friends were there to witness it. I promptly cleared it and he took it home that night, took it apart, chopped it up and buried it on his land. I can’t remember the model but it was a Taurus 9mm.

I currently carry a gun in my pants without a holster but it doesn’t have one in the chamber. But that’s because my current holster is one for a weapon light, which broke, and the tension in on the light instead of the gun. Now I have a new holster (no light) and a new weapon light in my cart to order.

But ya, never understood carrying a loaded loaded gun in your pants without a holster
