There’s another reason to have a holster that no one ever talks about… Cops take information about you from the fact that you have or do not have a holster. No holster… criminal… wants to get rid of the evidence fast, without having to also get rid of a holster. Holster… honest citizen, doesn’t care if cops find him carrying a gun.

My friend shot himself in the back of the leg when holstering his weapon wile mounting his Harley Davidson.

He loved to carry that extra round in his .45.

I’m glad the dog was okay. Good reminder about holsters. It makes me mad the guy’s life was ruined because unconstitutional laws kept him from being able to protect himself. The cops weren’t going to keep him safe. All the places where it’s a huge crime to carry a gun are places you wouldn’t be safe to be without one.

A few days ago I was in a supermarket and I was confronted by the store security officer informing me that I wasn’t carrying my weapon properly which was in my holster and he responded that my weapon could be seen under my shirt and that what if some child would see it and I said I apologize if it could be seen and I responded with all respect if there was a problem I wouldn’t have any problem with showing my CCW permit to whoever needed to see it to indicate that Im allowed to carry my weapon at all times

It’s a mystery why a holster isn’t a reflex buy like ammunition when buying a firearm. I don’t get it. Maybe when he gets out of the hospital he’ll see the error of his ways.
