YouTube gets more money for demonetising videos. Demonetised videos still play ads at the beginning and sometimes end, so they aren’t splitting the ad revenue with the video creator if they just demonetise them.

In other words, this issue will likely never get fixed. YouTube is actively against creators when they will look for any reason they can to screw then and line their own pockets.

The one YouTube problem I had was I uploaded a video of me playing Dead Space and I was screaming “No not the children!” As I was being mauled by The Pack and YT flagged the video as made for kids.

Sovietwomble foresaw all the YouTube bullshit so many years ago and never monetized his videos in favor of having fans fund him directly via Patreon, but I guess even he didn’t foresee Patreon shitting itself by firing its security team.

What amazed me about this “YouTube drama” is the people thinking YouTube cares

They don’t .. they will say they care about you but that’s all

How long we had copyright problems?
How long we had bots problem?
How long we had problems with loosing subscribers, views, etc?

How long we had videos getting claimed by others?

This is not new people .. this existed since 2014 or even before that

And YouTube says “we care for our content creators”

If you say “then I leave”
YouTube be like “please don’t leave” and that’s all they do. They are giving the idea on your mind they care for you to the point they don’t want you to leave

And it works cuss episode stay and swallow the flaws of YouTube thinking YouTube will do anything

They won’t

And billions of channels have say YouTube has problems

FOR WHAT? They aren’t gonna listen … and they had done it for over 6 years
