So it looks like that train scene happens when the MC just moved out, which mean this happens before episode 1…….so this means that the MC is stuck in a delusional limbo (this is actually explains why Shino says that she wants to “free you from this delusion”). Well, that eliminate my theory about MC’s friends and Nanase being the antagonist, but this actually creates another theory for me:

What if the present MC and the past MC are actually the same person? When Shino (who’s already dead and becomes a spirit at this point) prays to the gods to save her friends, the gods did save them (which means that Nanase, Sakura and the others are save) but that came at a cost of the MC being taken (possibly because the MC is Shino’s closest friend and emotional anchor) into a delusional state where she lost all of her memories, and Shino wants to free you from this state so you can return to the normal world again, and the MC’s present friends are actually just a hallucination

Out of pure curiosity, are these animations voiced the same way as Hologra? In short do they do the voices (at home for example) and just send it for the editors to sync it or do they actually go to a studio?
