This make me think in something:

Acording to this, all were missing after enter the station, meaning the train riding to Aogami. In other words, Shino lives in a time loop with her old classmates before the earthquake. So, whatever “new student” comes to Aogami, it been added to the roster of said school, and the school itself its an extension of the entire thing, basically the train is the ride to hell and the school is like “Limbo” where all the previous students who goes missing end up there, only knowing their names and things they usually do outside school. BUT wondering throught the illusion like ghosts who keep repeating the cycle everyday.

Think this in the perspective of a game, think the map are the station, the way to the school outside and inside the school. From games like GTA 5, The Witcher 3, or even Pesona games, each time a place had to load or a portion of the map, loads it and use an instruction who said: “MC goes to station -> load map 1 with character model 1 to 20 -> go. MC arrives to destination on Map 2 -> load map 2 with model 7 to 10”. But what gives the horror part basically how they are unnawared they are used as dolls to revive the golden days of high school from Shino.

And now her identity after the accident is back in the same world again(She is just a watcher and trying to change the future) while Sora is living (who knows nothing about her future self back to the present)And maybe you’re the one who can make the whole turn of the story happen. Something I picked up that maybe someone in here can explain to me. In the first episode korone is shown outside the train station. In this episode the transfer kid sees her again in the train, and says that “so this is Aogami, my new home” implying she is just got here. But then she recognises korone as the girl outside the train station even though this should be the first day she is here. That is bugging me, maybe it is a time loop like some other people have suggested in the comments, and the new kid is remembering things from previous loops. Or maybe my reading of the implications in “my new home” is wrong and this isn’t the first day but rather one of the days between the first episode and the third where Aogami high is hit with an earthquake. If anyone has other views on this I would like to hear it thanks.
