Oh man, all this Pinoy food. My mom saves it for Noche Buena, so we keep our Thanksgiving more traditional. Traditional for Filipinos. You know, half the house is harvest, the other half is Christmas, of course. You start decorating in the -ber months, because Christmas is a season, not a day. :^)

I need to break out the Ube Halaya. <3

I don’t know about what you guys think but I think Kiara was being too mean to HoloMYTH Gumbo. She acted like she already knows that it’ll taste bad, but apparently, she never tried alligator meat before, and she doesn’t even know what the heck is a gumbo. You shouldn’t judge on something that you have no knowledge about. She won’t like the gumbo even without the alligator meat because it’s a “spicy food”, sure! She has her own taste, and we should respect that. But she was being so unnecessarily mean about it. Kiara needs to choose her word wisely when describing something she has absolutely no knowledge about, otherwise the person who made that gumbo might feel hurt. In other words, if you never tasted the food before, the least thing you can do is saying “I never tasted it so I can’t really judge on it” instead of saying mean things like “Of course you say it’s good, you made it!” or “It looks good, but I would not eat this!”
