Anybody make a compilation of Chris just saying “there’s a fuse missing?” I’d love to see one.
Summary of the story from what I can understand:
Our character worked on an office building as Night Security, and on the office, we find a note saying that a Security named ‘Keigo Ochigi’ has gone missing. And that’s how we begin our story.
As we explore, we found out that not only there’s many ghost activity happening in the building, there’s also a severe ‘Power Harassment’ case happening in the office as well. An employee that only mentioned as ** is being abused by her boss and Seniors, forced to work over-time every day and they always pilled their work at her. Later, we found out that ** has a lover whose work as Night Security (Which is Keigo Ochigi), but one of her senior tried to took that man from her, and at one point the man broke up with her. This caused ** to have mental breakdown and killed herself. ** Ghost then haunted the building and attacked everyone that caused her pain. Her Seniors, her boss, and Keigo. ** then trapped the souls of those people on a Limbo.
On Ending 1, as we tried to escape through the Emergency Stairs, ** Ghost attacked our character and caused him to fall, but instead of dying, time seemingly rewinded and we returned to the beginning of the game. But this time, instead of just showing our character title as ‘Night Security’, it showed us our character’s name. ‘Keigo Ochigi’.
Our character was Keigo all along, and we’re trapped in the Limbo. All the floor and incident that we encountered was replaying the pain of ** before she died, in which she was abused, met Keigo during one of her over-night work, and becoming a lover despite Keigo already married, and also replaying the moment where her senior flirted and took Keigo from her. This is why Keigo didn’t flinch at all the stuff that happening, and why Keigo didn’t hesitate to give the flirty employee his contact number despite he already married. Because it already happened and it’s all just a re-telling.
On Ending 2, we managed to escape by inputting the code 1023 and escaped through the Elevator. Keigo woke up from his coma with his family waiting for him, but ** appear behind them, hinting that ** will always haunt Keigo even if he already out from the Lombo.
Trivia: This might be a speculation. But at the beginning of the story, we can check the calendar and it shows that 23rd October (10-23) is the day of Keigo’s daughter birthday. 1023 (The number that we use to escape from Limbo) is an important date, because it’s the day they broke up and ** committed suicide. So, if I have to speculate, Keigo didn’t broke up with ** because of the flirting senior, but because Keigo finally have a daughter and he don’t want to disappoint his family, thus he cut off the affair and relationship with **,
I’ve said it once I’ll say it again it is very rare for a game that I’m watching to make me panic and jump…
This is a very good game
I really enjoyed this one though I would have preferred keeping it in reality versus the other world thing. I was enjoying the realism of the beginning of the game. I guess the end credit scene maybe meant we were dead the entire time?
“chunky looking puppet” is my stage name
Almost shat myself when the puppets arm reached in the elevator!!
When I worked in an office, we really enjoyed wandering down to the Blood Floor. Well, ‘enjoyed’ was a strong word, but that was where Accounting was located due to its proximity to Hell…
5th floor is where I will throw in the towel and get myself out of the building. IRL
Wow I haven’t even finished yet but I’m so impressed .. I loved Chilla’s Art already but this is so good! One of the creepiest games I think I’ve seen!
i normally dont get too scared just watching a playthrough, but this one made me very nervous
‘Its goes all the way up to 11’… I see what you did there with the ‘Spinal Tap’ reference, Chris. Great game, and beautifully played and presented. Theres a really great energetic fusion with you and Chilla’s Art games. Its a match made in Heaven. Thanks for the entertainment.
Just thinking,.. I would really love to see a Chilla’s Art game set in a Hospital or Residential Home. A night shift in either of those environments has more than enough material to spook the bejaysus out of a person. Chilla really does atmospherics like a Boss. Oh, and dont mean to be overly personal, but it looks like you’ve been in the Wars a bit, Chris. I hope everything is ok and you’re feeling well.
aside from being an actual guard(cool story bro) there’s quite a bit in this game’s blueprint people can take a page from. they didn’t have to max out latest graphics; just enough to make the red eyed threat look real creepy the way it was designed to fit in with those settings. no annoying filters; there’s just too many games in such a short time span trending that. i also like how there’s nothing constantly in the camera; like a hand with a flashlight. fun fact: hold your hand out like ur holding a flashlight and it’s nowhere near your peripherals like nearly every game where you need to carry a light source at chin level. that janitor person; love that. effortlessly left me with more questions like is it the game or are you a ghost only she sees, why’s there’s no reaction with all the blood around etc.
This one, as you say, got weirder and weirder, but I quite liked it. I think a lot of the enjoyment came from your commentary, though.
Just reading the Chinese, but here goes:
49:00 逃 “Escape”
49:04 地獄 “Hell”
49:04 怨 “Grievance”
49:07 消 “Consume”
49:10 逃死 “Escape death”
Comparing to other Chila’s works this one take the cake.
I love Chillas Art games they’re soooo cozy and comfortable
Creepy doesn’t bother me too much most of the time and I don’t often get triggered by jump scares but this one that got me good. Creepiness AND jump scares got me. Very good.
This may have been the first game I’ve ever seen you not excited to enter and review a toilet 😂😂
I love the creepier Chillas games! I wish we didn’t see the ghost as often but I still got jump scared 👻 You should play Killer Frequency! It’s so good <3
