ストーリーと全く関係ないけど、そらちゃんと今回でてないけどまつりちゃんのふたりはぐんを抜いて演技上手いなぁと思って調べてみたら声優もされてたんですね。上手いわけだ。

The connections are starting to be made… Nanase-san’s (Suisei’s) family built much of Aogami using lumber from the cursed forest. Going back a few arcs, Sakura-san (Miko) mentioned that she met Nanase in those woods, and also gave her an ominous warning to her family to stop cutting down the forest, right before the landslide happened. Here Mari-san mentions a warning from a girl belonging to a family of shrine priests (possibly Sakura’s?) before getting a headache just like Nanase did. Another interesting note is that in that initial loop, Sakura, I think, mentions the art room being haunted, which was the whole reason for their “test of courage”. Most interesting though is the return of the bell-bracelet girl that Shino became friends with in the initial loop… how does she fit into all this?

Just something I find interesting, it seems that whoever gets close to the transfer student, the one with the bracelet, eventually meets a horrible fate.

1. Sora makes a wish to make new friends -> meets transfer student -> wish gets granted -> meets horrible end (landslide)

2. Marine wants to create an art piece no one else could -> meets transfer student -> wish gets granted -> meets horrible end (created terrifying painting with her own blood)

3.Suisei meets transfer student -> wishes for Sora to disappear -> wish gets granted -> meets horrible end (landslide)

4. Sora wishes for her friends to be saved -> transfer student approaches her -> wish gets granted -> loses all her memories and lives in endless cycles of a “perfect” school life

It might seem that the antagonist might be the transfer student. The transfer student is like a monkeys paw, you make a wish, but it comes with a caveat that you didn’t want.
