As someone who’s been long acquainted with The Backrooms since its 2019 origins as a 4Chan /x/ post, while I did feel a bit of saturation when it comes towards the topic, I do have to admit that there were some pretty good Backrooms games out there, and I have to commend the developers of some of these games for being able to make something so good.

i don’t like kane pixels inspired backrooms games, but I do like games not inspired by his vision of the backrooms, like the wikidot and fandom page.

Watching Glen trying and failing to find the revive door in Inside the Backrooms was enjoyable, especially when he had to call Kaif into the room to get him back.

I’m really glad to see Backrooms Exploration is pretty high up in that list. The devs were very kind enough to reach out to me to play early access to their beta a year ago, they even did something really special that I hope more people find hidden in the game, it’s in the Hotel, level 5, if anyone needs a hint on where to look.

There’s quite a few you missed under the title of VRCHAT. They are fully playable on keyboard & mouse 🙂 I suggest maybe making a subcategory about the SEVERAL vrchat related backrooms shenanigans ❤

How’s this for a game: The backrooms as a management simulator where you send brave scientists to their deaths exploring the back rooms. You never step foot inside (you’re far too important!) and you end up taking up jobs and projects like ‘creating a safe location and demo reel to show investors’ or ‘get a contract with the mafia for a place to throw their victims’. The real hilarity comes when the scientists/mafia victims come back to bite you in the ass. Or perhaps if you don’t hit certain milestones the backrooms and reality starts to collapse.

imo internet made media doesn’t have to be accurate to the “source material” because that goes against the concept of internet media

there is a differents between public domain and internet media. public domain has a clear beginning that is the reason the rest exists in the first place. internet media is open from the start so their is no clear beginning (which means there is no source material)

Hey man, I just wanted to say this is a really nice video, but you should probably include a graphic of how every game stands between games, because it really becomes hard to sort them out in my head as the list grows longer. Besides that, this is a really cool video, and I respect the effort to play most of this dogshit.
