I feel like Niji had it’s time but since being an indie is more accessible I think it’s not needed as much anymore. Hololive also has less use and they have slowed down on debuts BUT if someone wants to become an idol then they are a good option.
And before someone comments how Hololive as an idol company is a joke, look at the members. The only members in EN who were going to aim for music were Calli, Kiara, and Bae but for some reason someone like Kronii or Gura started doing idol training?
Also, I plan to watch clips and listen to the music of Mika from Niji ID and Selen from Niji EN, otherwise I’ve cut everyone else out after the Ziaon drama (I did this before she even gave her side of the story). This last drama was presented in all streams as guilty until proven innocent and a lot of people saw through it and waited for a response.
It was worth the wait man, it was a great video that touched many important points in a neutral and (i believe) knowledgeable way
Plus suspension during new year that’s like stabbing yourself in the foot not to mention hitting the vtuber where it hurts right when most people have nothing to do but watch vtubers.
Watching en slowly become drama filled is sad also the too many livers thing is also a big problem for me. I love the dynamics in the early days of EN but now that’s gone.
The way I see it… In the beginning, people thought Nijisanji could be a black company, now they’ve proven it without the shadow of a doubt. So many of their dumb decisions have no possible excuses to explain them other than litteral abuse of their employees, something black companies are known for.
One problem is related to Nijisanji still using the marketing model that considers the streaming as a part-time job. They still have streamers that are just there for part-time job, aside from the other full time job, on this cases i’m sure the streamers receives a low share and lack appearences.
But on EN branch they have members that want to change from the part-time streaming to full time job, that’s what makes me doubt about Nijisanji management, if the streamer wants to make a carrer so it’s the company that treating as a temporary work. And this adds when Nijisanji releases many waves together, increasing the quantity treating everyone just like a number, i must be wrong but that’s the impression the audience has at this moment. It’s painful to see the streamer are organizing everything and the company is there to throuble.
Honestly feels like companies world wide are having a competition to destroy their reputations the fastest.
Be it Annheiser-Busch, Nijisanji, Gaijin Entertainment, or Blizzard Activision, too many companies are having PR nightmares occurring on such a regular…
I’m hoping the recent issues encourage the EN management to take their time with their talents and start actually treating them properly. I feel like ILUNA and XSOLEIL haven’t had much time at all to establish themselves as much due to the larger groups they debuted with, and honestly I think if given more time between waves as large as them as well as better management it’d help them have the chance to build themselves in comparison to their peers.
Beside that, the EN waves in some cases despite being older, don’t feel as though they are being managed and pushed as well as they should be. Especially now with the toxic antis and obsessed fans, they need to be taking better care more than ever in keeping their talents looked after.
Keep on doing great work we still trucking for you.
Niji strategy: Shotgun blast as much vtubers to fill every neitch possible and only support the ones that make money.
17:56 are they satire?
It’s wild how you’re the guy who doxxed vtubers under the thin ‘historian’ guise and now are all ‘oh yea let me tell you why this company is bad because of the words of someone who got booted for making rape jokes and constantly breaking the rules anyone with half a brain understands’. Like, zero shame or self reflection, it’s genuinely impressive how much you refuse to to do to be a functional human being
Hololive is the definition of QUALITY over Quantity. They just seem to handle things much better these days & even though they have their fair share of drama that occur it’s taken care of swiftly and we as the community actually see how they handle it by them releasing transparent information.
As for the managerial side of things what’s good about Hololive is that the talents give an identity to their managers making them feel like actual real people. From the managers of Myth who we all know & love to Axel’s Gorilla manager, from Shinove-san of Holostars JP, to A-chan & Nodoka and to see the actual CEO Yagoo be present in many occasions just gives off a better reputation of Hololive. Whereas in Niji we have no idea who these people are as they are barely mentioned or have any presence.
Hololive feels more like a family than a business whereas Niji is business first.
One thing I will always remember about Hololive is the trust members have with the management, and in return, the fans. Do any of you remember when Fubuki was like “If our management was treating us horribly, I’d be the first one to leave and let everyone know”? That kind of statement was a godsend during Cover Corp’s lowest moments. Gave so much people relief, including myself.
A person that was banned for selling doxxes attempting to take any sort of moral high ground, purely because its the trendy thing among drama hungry people.
What an absolute clown world we live in.
I just found out about that Millie secret GC stream. I dont know what’s more sad, the fact that the people are encouraging it or the fact that she thought it was a good idea.
Holochads stay winning
i am okay with people and companies to make mistakes, no one is perfect, but they need to learn from their mistakes, people get better by learning from their mistakes not repeating them, and there is a big difference between Niji and Holo on that regard.
Holo also had many dramas in the past, Mel incident, Mio incident, Aloe incident, Coco-Haachama-Taiwan incident, Rushia incident and some small ones, but everytime after these incidents, they get better. From Mel incident, they reformed the management, all female managers with rotation, and prefer to hire non-holo fans as managers. after mio incident, training on copy right and perms to talents and managers, after the Aloe incident, better background check and predebut training and support. After Coco incident, training on political/cultural taboos and language guidelines. After Rushia, further improve on the mental and health support and fight aganist the slanders. i just feel that after all these years, they are getting better and better, they were very small back then, but with their hard work and improvements, now they are the leader in the industry, with good support and a fair cut between the company and the talents, both are very successful.
present day Nijisanji is giving me flashbacks to the Game Club Project “CTuber” debacle, and that’s not a good thing
Drama hasn’t been worthwhile since Yes released it in 1980.
