Sorry about the crash Jon. I feel like it gets worse as you go. So I’d save more. Make quick saves. Oblivion does not do it enough on its own. There might be a mod for it.
We’re just never going back to that giant dungeon eh?
Jon has a Waifu – confirmed.
The 4 DLC houses are great. You do still have to pay for furniture so it’s not quite free. You should check them all out eventually.
Jon, would you be able to use a Light spell in dark places like caves, dungeons, etc? It helps us viewers see better and also you yourself to see weapons and such, like the Dragonsword you missed this episode 29:57
Now that you have the 100ft Detect Life spell, do you think you’d be willing to find a new headgear? Having it on all the time must be tiring
Pro Tip for the episode: Poisons go Great with bows. The damage over time helps. Again, you can stack the damage of poisons that do different damage types. If you are going to master sandwich making, please use some of the sandwiches.
Lol, I always gave him azura’s star because the quest was nearby and easy and I couldn’t work out what it did.
The dude in green in the Bruma mage’s guild sells a really good conjuration spell…..
Hes gonna kick himself when he finally finishes the thieves guild lmfao
hey jon! great playthroigh!
please get a mod that makes the weapons stay in the character inventory, as you no doubt have missed great weapons because they went flying and got lost lol
as an example, Lord Kain’s sword is right there, in the basement… that you missed. i think you’ll like it!
cant wait for the next part!
My lord mannimarco, the king of worms, some say he is the necromancers moon others say he created it, high lord of necromancers… The necromancers you are investigating for the mages guild are trying to earn his blessing or some such, there’s only one way to find out for sure.
Well you’d normally never have to worry about that “Creepy” thing like you thought would be in the Castle Jon.
Kind of ties back to the lore stuff from the whole Knights of the Nine and Pelinel Whitestrake thing you were doing many, many moons ago. Basically the Ayelids in particular (and most elves in general in the Elder Scrolls) are noted as enslaving douchebags of the highest caliber (like that guy for Malacath you dunked on). Pelenial Whitestrake and his buds Mordhaus and Alessia lead a successful slave revolt against the Elves. This thing would transition into the Reman Empire, and eventually Tiber Septim’s Empire. The humans in Elder Scrolls are loudly and very up front abolistionists. Only reason Morrowind in particular got to keep its slavery is because Tiber Septim’s conquest of them was stopped because well… the Dark Elves have literal gods incarnate that can pop a miracle in someone’s ass if need be. It’s not exactly easy to put down the slave holders when that’s true. Which lead to a sort of “Missouri Compromise” status of the Dark Elves getting to keep their slavery in Morrowind, but it remained banned everywhere else in the empire.
… just saying. The Empire of Tamriel (Under humanity) is fairly progressive on that. Only reason the Malacath Quest guy got away with it was because no one had thought to include Ogres as “people” (though if someone found out they’d probably kick his ass anyway for being an enslaving elf douchebag much like you wanted to).
So yeah, there’s a few points where you get to buy/gain servants in the game (Skingrad’s home for sale lets you get one as well as I recall, nice place, like it myself, and she makes you shepard’s pie). But it’s always an employment thing, never a creepy slavery thing. And people do mention in game how they walked out on cruel bosses and such.
By the way Jon, while the Mage’s Guild Charter says what each Guild is supposed to “Embody” and what not… the best, unique spells are usually not at them. Like the unique “Summon Daedra Lord” spell is in Bruma. The unique Destruction spell “Enemies Explode” is in Bravil, etc.
Pays to snoop around. As well the Dark Brotherhood has a few spells to buy in Cheydinhal.
I am blown away by how much I am still learning about this game after sinking thousands of hours into it over 15 years
I miss the hour long runs (like when you started this series)! Still fun, but not long enough. 😛
You can probably go back to Cropsford now and grab free money in a chest upstairs in the main house.
The fellow you bought the castle furnishings from (Nilphas Omellian) has the most money in the game for a merchant (I don’t know if you noticed).
Shame these episodes are so short, could happily watch souch more 😃😃😃
Jon: This item takes too much souls to recharge, it’s useless!
Also Jon: *sells Varla stones*
(Using a Varla stone fully recharges your equipped weapon…)
Dear o dear Jon. How long have you been playing Bethesda games??
Always, always make manual saves regularly. It’s rule number 1.
Comment for the algorithm.
