Putting away all the amazing work Ame has done as a fucking creative nuclear power plant, I always pictured Myth as something that revolved around Ame lore wise and I think Cover intended to keep the spotlight on her but Ame isn’t really into being the center of attention, then Calliope became the “spokesperson” after debuting, with her Trash taste appearances and other work, numbers wise Gura would be the “leader” but her streaming is her own thing. Kiara I’d say is the creative, never ending energy type, and would dare say she’s the impulse keeping her gen active as a unit. For Ina I can’t say much, not cause she’s not great, she is amazing but she mostly keeps to herself and silently helps out. Everyone of them has leader qualities but none of them like to hog that power or would really want the title.

I’m currently creating an AU for Amelia Watson as I’m essentially writing a large story arc that an original story based on her lore, time watch, and Kronii.

And I agree 100%. This is one of the reasons why Amelia is my favorite out of Myth. Her investigation on the Myth girls, the time watch, the HoloCouncil, Kronii chasing Amelia down through the multiverse for said time watch, her relationship with Kronii, etc… There’s SO MUCH narrative potential here.

There’s potential for a full character arc for Amelia and that’s basically what I’m doing for this AU. However, there’s only so much material that it’s the reason why it’s an original story. So, I can put my own spin on her lore.

Will it be on par with Myth’s Bad Ending? Probably not since I don’t think it’s gonna be nearly as good but we’ll see.

Amelia is overall so great.

i think everyone agree that the best leader in vtuber right now Shibuya Hal because the way he handle Vsaikyou is amazing. its still the best tourney in vtuber era. the way he invites Hololive, Nijisanji, Vspo and other agency and Indie to participate in serious tournament is unmatch.

he also make his own agency neo-porte.

This reminded me of Crash Landing Studios’ fan made animation of Amelia meeting Gura, and it kinda makes me imagine a whole plot line of Ame just slowly getting to discover and research these mythical beings like Death, The Pheonix, and an Eldritch Being. I’d watch an entire series based off of that ngl.

HoloX might have been a better group to examine this leadership question because unfortunately Nousagi is extremely bias when it comes to Ameila (as he admits here at 5:44) and HoloX has a clear execution of this leader trope that can be examine front and back vs the largely fanon with Myth.

To me, the leader is the person who steps up and tries to solve the difficulties. Ame has done this over and over again. Many just see her accomplishments and belittle it by saying she’s “just” innovative. The 2 big examples are Holomyth’s 3D debut and Tempus. Myth’s first 3D debut was pushed back heavily and the fanbase was disappointed because it felt like a slap to the face to the achievements the Myth girls accomplished, and then boom, just a few months later Ame rallied everyone together and gave us what Hololive couldn’t. Tempus, my god, the atmosphere back then was unsettling, and I know there were collabs between the boys and Myth/Council before but those did not quell it. Ame saw the backlash of the collabs and decided to go further than a simple collab with the boys, she made them key figures in this big, first time event. Laying it out flat and simple, if you want to make a big controversy about the boys being a part of it and any future events, then you’re going to be ignored. Ame could’ve easily kept her involvement a secret but no, she stepped up and announced this as her project, she promoted it herself, and even made the boys front and center. She took control of the situation and publicly stated this is the new norm, deal with it.

The relationship between an “Assigned” leader, that is the leader by assigned position or hiersrchy, and a “De Facto” leader, that is the conductor of a group by the actual group dynamics is by no means uncommon and often expected in professional settings.

It’s well studied and comes up the most in workspaces such as offices, so it’s only natural that such dynamics are laid bare in agency idol groups.

As for what constitutes as leader… when the title is *this* informal, it means the position is fluid and early leader may step back as the group dynamics changes.
