Understandable selen doesn’t know hololive’s rules (me too so selen is relatable to me since i mainly watch nijisanji), she’s probably also scared that they can’t take the selen banter.

But i think Selen collab with hololive (Zeta & Ollie) and holostars (Axel & Magni) was such a blast! It was fun stream and i laugh a lot in that streams. Hopefully this is the first step of cross-collab for NijiEN, i want Petra and Rosemi or anyone in NijiEN collab with someone from holo. Kiara and Pomu are interact each other a lot, this is between EN collab will be interesting if happening in the future.

must be tough to not only carter to the audience of 2 different companies but to also not piss off the companies themselves cuz it took a long time for these collabs to happen but it can easily go away if things get out of hand but so far they have been great collabs all around

Just in case no one checks the replies to Deto masa’s comment, Selen has NOT scarred anyone from Hololive or Holostars. That asshole just left out content so he could get attention on his comment.

After their Apex collab, Magni said that he is going to be focusing more on solo content because he felt he was doing a lot of collabs recently. NOT because of anything Selen did. Please do not spread false information about VTubers.

yeah understandable. not just company wise but also fanbase wise, i feel like nijisanji and holo style of content is a bit different so some fans prefer different type of jokes. i’ve seen some holo fans shocked at stuffs niji members can say on stream like how they don’t just make innuendos but will say sexual or extremely risky jokes outright. i noticed that even though selen threw out some unseiso jokes, she was still more toned down on the apex collab with tempus compare to when she collabed with other niji members. the collab was still fun though and i think alot of people enjoyed it so i hope more collabs will happen in the future

Honestly, I don’t care for Holostars x Nijisanji collabs. What I really want and maybe even the majority of fans is a Nijisanji x Hololive collab.

From a Holofan to any EN Nijifans out there unfamiliar with HoloPro, I would say from top to bottom, these are the rankings of HoloPro branches from most strict to the least strict:

– HololiveJP – Very busy and very strict, which makes it hard to conduct collabs with them. A handful of the girls cater to the GFE type of content, so they’re fairly cautious. Some are very open to collabs, like Matsuri, Towa, etc, but again, seeing as they’re the face of the company domestically, they’re very busy in general.

– HololiveEN + HolostarsEN (same management, so I’m lumping them together) – Much less strict than HololiveJP, but still considerably strict. They have the most range of audience, which is the international audience in general, so they can be really mindful of what they say. Most are open to collabs, but outside of Calli + Tempus, will rarely initiate outside collabs themselves.

– HololiveID – Among the least strict of the branches. The ID staff are trolls too, just like their talents. Doesn’t really cater to GFE and will put their foot down if a fan goes out of line. Collabs galore because ID peeps are just really social in general.

– HolostarsJP – Does not give AF. The least strict of the branches to the point of hilarity. They’ve gotten away with things that could make some Nijisanji members blush. Completely avoids BFE content. Will casually talk about yabai stuffs if the topic comes up. Very open to collabs, but mostly through invitation, with the exception of Rikka and Roberu, who often instigate collabs themselves. The latter is practically married to Kagura Mea, with Maimoto from Nijisanji as the third wheel, lol.

As someone who used to be really active in the Hololive fandom, it’s kinda understandable. Back when it was just a small fandom, it was genuinely a fun and warm place, but as time and popularity grew, it too invited many unsavory fans. Many lead to cut a piece of attention in the large fanbase, some benign like art, stories, and song; but also those who want popularity, drama, and control. Granted, it is still a fun place to be in, with many casual fans enjoying it, but if you look into it more, it has a lot of fans with superiority complex that would level with Kpop Stans.

Thankfully though, a lot of the Hololive/Holostars members have made effort to quash them, so rest easy for Selen and other NijiEN members. Only by shoving reality on their faces they can accept that their oshi is not someone they can control.

The NijiXHolo collabs in general have been great imo, looking to see more afterwards.

BUT I understand some Niji members(I.E. Selen)have to tone or limit themselves for Holo viewers. It’s like a “culture shock” to holo viewers who only watch Hololive only. Of course not all fans are like super die hard and understand that Holo are “idols” and also human(while there are bad apples too who are in the deep end). Same can be said for Niji. While they’re not inherently “idols”, more so streamers, they’re more “free” to do things than Holo. Some Holo viewers do get the wrong idea for majority of Niji members. Sure they do talk very explicitly, there’s a few who generally don’t talk like that 24/7 or none at all. Like Shu or Rosemi are your best bet to start out for Niji for something very, very tame. Selen, while many might only seen “toxic” traits from her. Her bento stream does some justice of her gap moe. There’s other cases too but the bento stream is such a great example(if you don’t have time for, I think, 1 hour+ stream. Another clip channel, Rabbit Hole Ch., has a 20+min vid on that stream)
