mori is kinda cool to me I watch some of her steam and yes she can be a little bit of using curse words but that make her really popular right now ☺️☺️
Really was expecting Keniisu to just expand on the Connor drama, thanks for not doing that.
vt is just cu*k obsessed and schizophrenic, the usual, lol.
I don’t care if mori has been prejudiced and biased against her badly just because she is a capable rapper and singer, her rap and singing give me realism hope, and opportunity in life. Even though life is filled with real sorrow and pains her rap is the one that dragged me into the rabbit hole to carry on the struggle and sin I have been through loved your video. Bro keeps it up.
A lot of people look at Calli with jealousy, calling her talentless.
I hate Hololive (I like Vtubers, just not corpos) but I find it pretty ironic that half of these captions happen within the first year of HoloEN’s existence from when I actually liked Hololive. Sounds like beating a dead horse to me. The fact that people still put Coco in clip shows in 2022 is pretty hilarious.
Is one of Newton’s laws to hate Mori…
The haters are more obsessive of Calli than the die hard simps it’s hilarious
we’re about to get into 2023, and yet here we are. still.
The most ridiculous take I hear is that she’s somehow “racist” or exploitative or black culture. You know, because she raps? Seriously. But really, saying she’s universally hated by the internet kinda ignores all the legions of fans she DOES have. Plus, who the hell takes anything /vt/ says as if they have any relevance outside of their own quarantine zone.
You completely missed the Guras privacy infringement, when Calli gave keys to their BnB to her sister who invited whole town to substance abuse and party there so gura had to rush into her room and lock the doors.
There is also plenty of ditching holo-stuff with shoddy excuse only to stream on twitch on her other account.
Calli is great in collabs. :/ That Coco one was one of my favorite shitpost reviews.
It is true that first impressions are basically everything. Far more people had a great one and still love Mori than not though. She can come off as “fake,” but I see it more as insecurity than actual lack of authenticity. She IS a dork. She IS a weeb. She IS awkward. These are part of the package you get following and watching her.
I feel like I can speak on this as a Black fan.
A lot of the hate Calli receives is primarily because she went against the grain of what was expected of an idol.
She’s not “seisho” and frequently collaborated with her male counterparts which to those who were trying to live that girlfriend experience was a major put off.
Heck, the entire En was criticized for being awkward during collaborations, with a big blame unfortunately put on Kiara for being the extrovert that ” try to hog the spotlight”.
This falls apart when you realize that
Mori has met up the most with her co-workers out of anybody and even went to Canada to see Kronii and Ina.
The critiquing of her rapping is something that has more to do with accusations of cultural appropriation within spaces like Twitter and such.
The idea is that somebody who’s not white doesn’t deserve her platform because she’s utilizing music that originated from African American culture, but this criticism has been used against everybody from Eminem to Lin-Manuel Miranda.
She obviously has respect for the medium and the greats, but being a part of a Japanese Idol group means that you have to fall in line with Japanese taste more than anything else.
TBH, I think people are just hungering for a black Talent which is why any amount of misgivings is Amplified up to eleven.
All and all, Cali has certainly grown over the past two years and you can really see her get into character and not feel uncomfortable When approaching certain topics like she used to.
The embracing of the “Dad Meme” , her willingness to mess around with Kiara like a friend, and how she’s the first to take newer members like Bae, Iyris, and Tempus under her wing before anyone else does.
Mori is definitely the most real vtuber out there.
Today people seeing real people as negative thing. Like what the fxck, you prefer her to smile and engage in small talk she doesn’t want to? That won’t make her stand out, she knew it. This is why she didn’t pretend to be seiso or talkative idol, instead she is being her cool self.
lol
I like the fact that, along with Kiara (and Coco just before her graduation) she openly appears as her non-virtual persona on other channels. She’s a long way from being my favourite, but she’s also arguably been among the more willing to try different things within the typical vtuber stream content (mainly games/karaoke/chat/maybe drawing)
btw its not pronounced ” ca lie ope ee ” its ” callie- o-pay”
Them haters don’t like her rap. Yo, Mori. Continue rapping. You’re the inspiration for me to record my first mixtape. Fuck em haters.
I don’t get why she gets hated so hard. Every time I see her stream she’s one of the most chill imo. Never have had a bad time so far with her streams or music.
I like that she is very hardworking and I want to be the same. Like… I’m learning english, for me this is so cool and it’s all because of vtubers and shows. I’m evolving and Calli and Kiara are great inspirations for me
