Aaah yes… Scheherazade and XuanZang spook on summer race rerun’s Nero Caster banner as my 1st and 2nd JP SSR :’)
before getting NP2 Nero Caster on back to back singles
didn’t even get Nito or Nobu on that banner >:'(
I made my account during the second nero fest, and i rerolled until I got heracles, and on my first 10 pull in the limited banner I got nero bride. the next day I did my second 10 pull and I got mordred. then i saved my f2p sq and got my third ssr king hassan, I thought he was so cool that I lvl 100d him and gave him 2k fous. but then I found out I wasnt wodan and my kh was np1, and he was a bit underwhelming damage wise, at least he doesnt die as fast as a berserker would. and he is fun to use when save scumming when i solo against rider bosses, especially during the summer 2 event against the skycow. nostalgic
Imma be honest, it all started with typemoon wiki then jalter page appeared. It snowballed from there with Merlin as my first SSR in JP. I don’t reroll, heck my tutorial rolls net me Stheno then kept sacking buster oriented servants like Cualt from random story banner rolls and here we are at year 7
I remember first time i knew about fgo was around 4 years ago (jp server) but i couldn’t play it cuz it’s japanese. Around 2020, a lot of things happened and it’s make me depressed but then i heard about fgo Babylonia anime. I saw Gilgamesh (Caster) and Chaldea’s gang. It’s cheer me up and before i realized there is NA server where i can play and read the story. And now in 2022, i’m feeling much better about life, have friends (my salty master comrades) except for the fact my sodium’s level still high cuz gacha is hell
I think i started playing FGO after i bought a new phone and i believe it was around the Ibaraki Raid event in NA, because Shuten was on rate up.
I had known Shuten for almost a year and she was the reason i asked my bro “What is FGO” lol.
The dumbest moment i believe i experienced playing this game was believing that SSRs are easy to get. I didn’t get any SSR for a year after i rolled Tamalancer lmao. (That made me switch account into a better one that i continue to play to this day)
My long history of how I fell into the gacha hell. Stop here if you don’t like to read lol
Way back then, I really fell in love with the Fate series after I watched Fate/Zero and UBW. Around a year later, the FGO anime got released, and I gave it a try. Honestly, the anime didn’t leave too much impact to me. But I’m still intrigued about the continuation. I remember how I gave up on it after I learned that it’s a Japanese game and I need to play it for the continuation.
Even after a year, I still love Fate. And so, I did some research about the Servant lore and found out that there are more Fate series out there. And of course FGO was also there. I remember how I enthusiastically read more and more Servants lore that are not in Stay Night. I still remember this one moment when I said to my self “Yo! This Rider is really cute! Wait, she is a HE!?” (you should know who I’m talking about). I remember that the first FGO exclusive Servant that I found was Beowulf. I was reading Emiya’s weapons lore, and one of them redirected me to Beowulf page. I tried to read Beowulf’s FGO wiki page, but I didn’t understand anything lol. Around one year later, FGO NA was announced. Many weebs around me were excited, but as someone who doesn’t really into mobile game, I said that I’ll just wait for the anime if it will even get released.
That time, I still loved to randomly roam around the Typemoon wiki and read some Fate lore whenever I don’t have anything to do. Out of curiosity, I tried to peek at FGO Servants. And so, I found my very first FGO waifu. Miyamoto Musashi. Her character design and NP animation really captivated me. That time I thought “If I ever play this game, I want this Servant!”. And after more research, I found Scathach… I thought “Yo, FGO Servants looks so waifuable!”. And so, I decided to give FGO a try… I dipped the tip of my feet into it, and the unseen hand dragged me deeper and deeper into the gacha hell as more days passed… 5 years already passed, and I’m still here despite having several burn out phases
I watched UBW and was re-watching the clip of Kojiro’s NP on YT where the comments were talking about “Regend” and “Saviour of France”. That’s where it all began for me
the gacha story was actually pretty wholesome ngl
don’t rmb how i got into fgo but i believe it was me running on the hype from finishing zero and ubw searching for a fate series game to play on mobile and found it. the more i think about it the more i feel it rlly is how it happened. yea sounds about right
Don’t worry, we all started as noobs 😀 when I started playing I had no idea limited servants were a thing and believed every servant was available in the story banner and the event banners were just for rate up, lol.
me when I rolled for Ishtar and got waver instead on my first 10 pull I was a bit upset but he made my life so much easier
funny thing is, when i began on NA a little over two years ago, the second Gudaguda rerun was just wrapping up, and without knowing much about the game i just rolled my spending tickets i’ve got from the login bonuses
on the tenth roll i got a rainbow spin and Okita emerged as my first SSR servant who absolutely carried me through a good chunk of part 1
didn’t even know she was a feet girl……….
Myst laying the foundation for his caster magnet.
Myst is the master of casters for a reason.
My first SSR was Raikou (and Arjuna).
I was rolling on a banner to get Okada Izou because he was a limited 3 star, so seemed reasonable to just get him. Raikou had rate up on the banner but I did not really think much of her.
So I got 2 Raikous and an Arjuna on 10 multis, before I finally got Okada lol
Just rolled Okita while Myst was talking about her feet
I’m glad I only started playing fgo last year. Because honestly this game was terrible and had no servants I wanted before 2021. Except muramasa on JP.
It was in 2019 that I started getting into this Nasuverse hell and after watching the 3 routes from FSN and watching Fate Apocrypha. I decided to watch the Babylonia anime and I really enjoyed it a lot and I was like damn, I want more, then I was reading through the comment section and saw some of the guys saying that only First Order and the Babylonia singularity has been adapted and to be able to experience the rest of the story I’d have to play through the game and so I decided to play FGO mainly for the story and that’s how I got into this hell and to this day and I still play for the story(LB6 is easily the best story and I’m sure a lot of people that have read LB6 will agree) but I also play for the waifus now. TLDR: I love FGO. Btw my first ever SSR was King Hassan, he’s one of my favorite servants in this game.
So… this was you first step into Hell, good luck getting out of it XD
btw, every day that passes by you look more like our one and only Spider-man Tobey.
Im the same as myst,i found out about FGO through the doujins, specifically the salter and jalter one(not gonna elaborate further on that)
But i got into fgo 3 years ago, when A gacha game Ive played over a year Called Law of Creation(LoC) shut down,i downloaded Fgo and gave it a try,I finished fuyuki and I would have ended it there and uninstalled it if I hadnt found out that Fgo Na is currently Giving Free 4* servants,I went to it and Got my first Ever Non Tutorial SR:Saber alter, since then i got hooked.
My first SSR is Void shiki during the Kara no kyoukai Rerun,Got her NP2 in a single multi,I never saved SQ until The 3rd anniversary Since i keep using my SQs Either to roll or just to use them when i fail a Main quest battle.
