Loved the video!! Definitely want 200 days of Sun Haven. Seems super complex to play but fun to watch 😅 Also I’d love if you tried 100 days of My Time at Portia! It’s like Stardew and Sun Haven but with 3D characters instead of pixel art. It looks cheesy at first glance but it has a remarkably deep and complex backstory about living in a world after a technological apocolypse. Anyway love all your videos, can’t wait to see more!

I dont think there is a specitic pronounciation of “mana”. Depends on if your accent uses hard or soft a’s. I pronounce it the same as you. So do most people.

I’ve been playing Sun Haven off and on since it was in Early Access. I found that the longer I stayed in actual Sun Haven, the more I enjoyed the game. Once I get to Nelvari, I lose so much interest since all the characters really are super bland and adding a ton more bland characters wasn’t all that interesting. I also knew since Nelvari is only like two map screens away from the player farm, that a lot of the adventure wouldn’t be all that involved. that being said, I’ve still clocked in over 100 hours in the game over the course of Early Access and now release and over about 3-4 different player characters. So there’s obviously some enjoyable elements to the game and its gameplay loop.

Edit to add: I also wish the rain and tilling spells were better or we were able to craft sprinklers. They’re super inaccurate so you end up still working to either un-till land or water missed tiles or having to finish up by tilling the tiles that were missed. It’d be nice to be able to actually aim the spells and have them be more accurate.

I did play this game in its early stages, back in 2021. Last time i played the game was on 0.7. I still need to play it again to see how it has evolved, but it left me with mixed feelings. Only the human town felt fleshed out enough, and the elven town barely had anything going on for it. The game would probably have made more sense if the team had focused on an single town tho.
