I am mexican, so what I know about Kukulkán it’s that he’s basically the mayan version of Quetzalcoatl (who’s actually Mexica/Aztec) so we may have the same concept as Sigurd and Siegfried. Tezcatlipoca on the other hand it’s a Mexica/Aztec god who’s the counterpart of Quetzalcoatl he represents Jaguars, Spiders and the obsidian/smoking mirror this last thing was already mentioned on FGO by Daybit I believe.
Manuela Sáenz was a ecuadorian politician so I really don’t know what’s she doing here lol. But she was Simón Bolívar’s wife who’s a really important figure in South America’s independence.
The Maya twins are from a legend about the Xibalba which is the mayan underworld, this is also the name of the lostbelt so it makes sense, they’re basically two brothers who were playing ball (classic prehispanic game) so loud that they awakened the Xibalba Lords, so they invite them to play ball on the Underworld so they could kill them for their insolence.
And well, Hernán Cortés was the Spaniard explorer who conquered the Aztec Empire.
As for the NPCs I already mentioned Simón Bolívar, Malinche was a salve woman who served as translator between Aztecs and Spaniards, Huitlzilopochtli is basically Zeus for the Aztecs he’s the strongest god in this mythology, Maize God could be a reference to Cintéotl the mayan god of maize (who’s underground actually so we may meet him on our way to the Xibalba)
ORT is basically what ZTL said, a Type just like Type-moon, Type-Venus, Saturn, Etc, you can get more information for them on Notes.
So what I think it’s that they’re merging Aztec and Mayan culture and if that’s not the case then maybe the Aztec gods are related to the Types (they’re from outer space) and that’s why ORT=Tezcatlipoca, he could be an avatar or more humanoid form of ORT, we can guess this based on the information we have of Quetzalcoatl.
We have to remember that Mayans (Kukulkán, Maya twins and Maize God) and Aztecs (Tezcatlipoca, Quetzalcoatl, Huitlzilopochtli) are not the same culture. My personal guess would be that ORT crashed on earth in central/south America and he’s somehow related to Aztec Gods (or controlling them) and this is creating conflict with the gods that were there before (Mayans are way older than Aztecs) honestly I don’t see how we can beat ORT and Tezcatlipoca with just Kukulkán as ally and that becomes even more difficult if we add Huitlzilopochtli so we may have to go to the Xibalba in order to convince the Underworld Lords to help us. Also I don’t really know what role Wukong would play on this but he’s most likely to be an ally.
To all of this we have to consider Daybit, but he’s still a mystery so I don’t know if he’ll be on ORT’s side or what.

I mean, it does make a lot more sense for Artoria to be grand saber, especially if she gets Avalon. I wonder if its going to be a flight against her, it would be nice to finally fight against a grand

Well, we already have Kukulkan under Quetzalcoatl who was stated to be Kukulkan by Jaguarman. Kukulkan was the Mayan and Taino name for Quetzalcoatl but if so, I’m disappointed
