Mash hard carried me through almost all of part one. Popping her NP right before the Lion King uses hers and watching Rhongomyniad hit for 0 was amazing. Then the Lahmu appeared and kept removing my buffs, which made Mash pretty useless for almost the entire second half of Babylonia.

Mash is good in both forms, though her OG one is MUCH better overall in what it tries to accomplish. Regardless, she is still worth investing Mats into 100%, since she just generally good if you play to her strenghts. That’s about it, really.

I was agreeing with you until you said that ortinax mash was just as good if not better. THAT IS STRAIGHT UP CAP. As a F2P player mash was probably my only support when tackling the story. When Ortinax came around I had to sacrifice a spot just to have her in the party if not the front line, and it sucked. I can’t even count on how many battles I could have won first try if I had normal mash, or they didn’t force us to use ortinax mash.

Really appreciated the video. I would also mention that, as she has 0 cost, she’s great at carrying CEs like Bella Lisa and the like when farming, without having to equip said CEs on stronger Servants you might want to use with other CEs.

I admit I’ve not maxed her for a long time, even though she enabled my Servants to fire their NPs early on in the game. I actually miss seeing her in the front lines.
Anyway, when Summer 5 came by on NA and she got her second summer costume, I couldn’t but level her up. The artwork and Status Icon were just too beautiful!
Her glasses really convinced me.

I can hate on Ornifex Mash if I want because losing that defensive first skill messed up my team setups so badly while going through the story, and being forced to use Ornifex Mash so much at certain points when I wanted some other setup… yeah, it was a bit of a kick in the face.

Of course Mash is worth it, all new player should max her ASAP. She is also probably going to end up becoming a 5* as the story progresses.

only really started using her during babylonia iirc. Defense is nice to have sometimes. Ortinax? Wdym Bunker Bolt? Wdym 1 hit buster crit buff? What?
