Watching this right after my players forced an encounter that led to a tpk and I just said they were thrown in jail instead since it was all melee damage (still had them do death saves until the entire party was down though)

Oh, and also – calling the Marvel movies ‘the lowest common denominator’ isn’t a ‘hot take’….no, that’s actually *a slap in the face* to those of us who do love and enjoy the entire MCU, and who are legitimately inspired by it. I was frankly hurt by that comment in the stream and I see no reason why it should have been made. Again, if something isn’t your proverbial cuppa tea, that’s more than fine – but there’s *no* reason at all to demean and deride what other people actually like….and, through your phrasing, to also very plainly insult the people who *do* like it. We all know what the ‘lowest common denominator’ phrase actually means and it should not have been said. Like I said, it’s a slap in the face, and it was entirely uncalled for.

ngl watching yall play for the first half is very disorienting and irritating, like at the first part where the door was open and you ran in circles for almost a minute. or how you jitter the camera angles around so much for no apparent reason. and there are no “hidden” achievements or anything so it just made no sense. all im saying is, its very disorienting

The most streamlined combat system i’ve ever used is in the “Paranoia” rule system. It basically works like this: Does what you’re trying to do amuse the DM? If yes, then it succeeds. 😀

The discussion about loosing media and the records. THIS is why fan zines and dvd vhs ect collections are gold!
Im 27 and re getting my dvd collection because i wan to be able to have my movies and shows whenever i want (with out “renting” it) and when i have a working home printer i will be printing out my fav fics. (Ps book binding fics is a beautiful and good thing but ask first)

I would like to give definitive proof that Indigo is, in fact, the Stream “Bad Boy”.

So, we all know the dynamic of colors set up in society. Red is most often associated with “evil” and blue is most often associated with “good”. Indigo is primarily made up of the color blue, which places it firmly on the side of goodness and heroism.

That said, Indigo, like violet, has a dab of red thrown into the mix. Violet is 50% red (evil) and 50% blue (good) which fits it squarely in the “neutral alignment” slot. Indigo is 25% red (evil) and 75% blue (good) which places it in the territory of goodness while still having a hint of evil. This is firmly in line with the Lancer trope of being on the side of good, but with a dangerous, sometimes even evil, edge.

And that is proof as to why Indigo is the stream/Channel’s resident Lancer and “Bad Boy”.

Anyways, in regards to Indigo’s No Way Home take. I don’t think that was a problem with Marvel themselves, but rather Marvel not owning the rights to Spider-Man and Sony was about to stop letting them use him. After Far From Home was released, Sony basically took him back until Marvel was able to make a deal for one more movie (with the potential for more if they can work out another deal). I don’t think Marvel wanted to risk Sony wouldn’t let them make another movie, so they just decided to write him out of the MCU.

Gosh 😳 How can Blue operate a game controller for 9 hours more-or-less continuously and not end up with repetitive strain injuries and eye-ache?? I definitely couldn’t type for that long without it being painful!
