Anyone saying spoofing shouldn’t cause a ban is being facicous. Prolly the same people who got second place in a sport as a kid and still got a medal.

Here is another thought! Give us options when things hatch at raids! If they want to rotate pools fine, but when I see a 3* egg hatch and I click it I should get to choose what I want to battle! Have it create a unique raid ID that if I wanted to invite others to my raid I can! So if all I want to raid is snorlax, then that’s what I raid! Leaving the eggs to RNG can theoretically have NO snorlax hatch ever! Thats ridiculous! So give us the options to choose what we want to raid!

I’m ok with people spoofing as long as they aren’t annoying while doing it. I’m in a local WhatsApp group and there is one guy that always brags about having full teams of hundos/shundos and it’s very frustrating as a legit player.

spotlight hour at 6-7 pm in winter for most countries is asking to get robbed or worse, in smaller countries only malls(normally closed at this time) and parks are where there are stops to grind but that isnt safe at all, also how is this “exploring” if i have to travel to the same 3 places to catch pokemon?

I’m not a fan of spoofing never liked people who do it you deserve to get caught by the niantic police no sympathy for you. really no reason why you should do it we have remotes which fixes the rural problems why would you risk you’re pokemon go account that you build months and months processs on atleast niantic is giving people chances to correct their mistakes most video game companys would just strike you’re account no questions asked that may change for niantic.

it will be an arms race. there is always a way around every security feature like there’s a way to open any lock. people will “cheat” as long as people will play the game. pogo is really not a fair game by default so who cares? it’s not like a lot of legitimate players aren’t flexing.

Since the community ( us ) play pokemon to why can’t they implement a system where we take a picture and have them create a poke stop for us. I have a cool monument that isn’t a poke stop , but I wish it was . It will help people who doesn’t live near one

Hey trainer tips. I used to have an alt account were I spoofed. I dont care about it tbh. I accedently logged in to my real account and caught 1 pokemon before I realised. Am I at a huge risk?

look I don’t care about spoofers but some spoof apps have features in it which are broken. I know that since I’ve spoofed myself. I do have a normal account (no cheats etc) and a spoof account. If you payed for the spoof I used you could get things like instant win rocket battles, gym assistant, virtual go plus, etc etc. also a free feature to always throw a excellent while you actually just throw a nice throw. I mean this should be detectable I hope. the spoofing it self idc at all

edit: playing normal has a way different vibe. you are just hurting yourself when spoofing. I’ve a group of like 8 people and if the campfire thingy is out I hope for a giant community. In the fresh air with friends is always better than playing on the couch! But I still see one good thing in spoofing which is able to trade with people all over the world. On my main/normal account I have some lucky friends with who I want to trade with but can’t please Niantic make lucky friends global and I don’t care about quitting spoofing at all!

Niantic should just say…. Pokémon Go is not for rural area.

There should not be gym, or pokestop in rural area.

It is the reason rural area have problem playing raid that player spoof.

Also the regional lock is unfair to some country. Some player will not have that Pokémon in their life time if you can’t travel
