First of all, the game is never a plain field for everyone as long as some play from Singapore and others in a rural town from Brazil let’s say. It’s not the same for everyone. Second, it’s not fair that jailbroken phones cannot acces the game regardless if you are tampering the ipa or not. There are many ways to make a difference between them snapchat has proven that. And lastly, the game is broken enough and should be fixed before bothering with some players that clearly don’t value the game and will never be considered a pogo player in the local community.

Good hate them all was taking the few gyms in my area and I live in a area where there is only 2 gyms and very few pokestops.

I played pokemon go legit for 3 years where I started 2016 but I ended up qutting cuz where I live there is nothing and it just got really boring. Then 2 months back now I started spoofing and its so much more enjoyable for me and I dont flex anything. I just like catching and doing mewtwo raid and such. Which I could not do otherwise.

I dont understand why they are so worried about spoofing. Of course you dont support this you fly everywhere. Some people are not fortunate to be in an area with places and people to play the game. There is SO MANY BUGS they need to fix but they choose spoofers who are of least concern. Be normal and fix the game nobody cares about spoofers.

Spoofing really shouldn’t be an issue, there are people who physically cannot get out and about to play this game and enjoy the events they force you to go to in person, on top of that this game bases every even on people who have no dam job 11-3 every event is just stupid.

If I’m honest,Pokémon go is quite boring without spoofing.I do spoof a little myself but I think it’s boring when you live in a bad location you can’t play the game properly therefore you can’t get any legendary’s or do community days without a incense(1 spawn every 5 minutes for me) but I do get why Pokémon go don’t what you to spoof but I just had to put this out there

I use a phone swing so I’m wondering if that’ll get me a strike or not. It does gives me an unfair advantage but it really lets me get candy, XL candy, faster egg hatches, mega energy, and gets me the weekly 50 kilometer rewards. Any thoughts? I still play the game completely legitimately.

There are so many problems with this game as it is, spoofing should really be the least of Niantics’ concern. I don’t care if someone has an “advantage” over me. I play this game for myself, I’m not competing with anyone else.

I feel like if they just randomized CP and IVs for all mons this wouldn’t be as big of an issue. Just like it is before Trainor Lv 30 I believe? The fact that someone can post the location of a hundo and everyone can just teleport there and catch it is dumb. I understand the frustration for rural players though and I don’t think them spoofing to their most near city is that big a deal.

Another solution – allow an option to set up like a pop up “poke center” . Allow player to just have 3-4 stops magically appear for a certain amount of time each day or at least during special events. Of course only if nothing else within a certain amount of distance.

Also Niantic “we want our big events to be inaccessible to the majority of the fan base”

Never spoofed, but the hypocrisy of choosing random cities around the globe that people cannot physically get to with specific, unique rewards encourages this behavior.

Unfair advantage? You cant use these words on a non-multiplayer, non-competetive game. You cant have any advantage in tamagochi, same is for pogo.

I never spoof or use auto catchers why? Because when you cheat a game and advance, you take away the true value of what you earned. If you can have access to any Pokemon 24/7 it will lower the value of all your Pokemon.

I started spoofing early 2021 because of the pandemic restrictions. I do not have anything to brag/flex since because even with spoofing, I am still an average player with average catches. The only difference now is, I spend more because i can join more events and participate fully in it. If i get banned, i have no problem cutting 50-70% time spent on the game. Maybe the ban can help me quit this game for good anyways because i spend too much time and $ on it.

BIASED VIDEO. Spoofing is leveling the playing field. What about the rich players being able to whale the game to the rural players having no pokestops for miles, the youtubers getting paid travel from Niantic and the disabled people unable to move from their house. Nothing is fair about this damn game.

I never spoofed, but I do find it interesting that Niantic seems FAR more interested in going after cheaters than fixing bugs or addressing issues like lost Pokemon. Their official position on this bug is gaslighting. “You must have accidentally deleted your starred/shiny/event pokemon. That’s why it’s not there anymore. Yup.”

Hey Billy if you really want to help us trainers play legit why not talk to Niantic and make events more local? We don’t have money like you and other players. Now that we are talking about playing fair how can you call it when all you “content creator” get to experience it for basically free. I don’t find that fair since I am spending money on the game aswell. Help us by talking to Niantic to make this game “fair” for EVERYONE
