So ill share my story i am from india and i used to spoof in 2017 and i did for long time first of all at that time i wasnt allowed that much to play outside and also there so near to less pokestops and gyms and i was legit but i did spoof when i could so the last time i spoofed was 2018 as after that bcz of a update and my latest android i couldnt but i had an option a time came when i got a 7 days ban and finally a warning that was the time i thought ok no more spoofing and i actually stopped spoofing for 8 months after that there was a method for spoofing but i did for my alt account only not my main and then in 2019 i couldnt anymore. ill accept i did spoofing but the situations was very different at that time but after niantic added more gyms and pokestop in india finally near my house in a large park within walking distance i finally got some play. i cant risk spoofing but i want to do as i have some problems if niantic solve or improve then game will be good for me too. if niantic adds or improve pokecoins earning amazing or a way to earn raid passes.
To be honest i have to use alt account as no one i know plays pokemon go maybe ill find players if i go to some famous spots . but overall i am happy we have stops and spwans to play. ok this was it wanted to accept and just say what i feel , there are multiple things but my account is precious above all

Spoofing doesn’t effect me. GBL cheaters are the problematic players and the bugs/glitches on Niantic’s side are also problematic. They remind me of the US government…real problems that effect real people, but let’s investigate baseball players for PEDs. Focus on the real problems and then tie up loose ends when it you square them up

This should be interesting since the majority of pokemon go players left are spoofers and spare accounts since I’ve never seen anybody on the road catching pokemon compared to the years it was released. The only reason they giving off warnings is that they wanna scare off spoofers for certain amount of time and don’t want them to quit playing . Lets see where it’s going then, I’m gonna take a break for a few monts or about a year. See y’all , and btw I’m not a spoofer either 😜😜 Adios Pokemon Go

I find nothing wrong with spoofing if you live anywhere isolated to any degree, I feel like spoofing is just more fun, interesting and not much more rewarding unless you want to shell out some money. Really spoofing at this time is just another way of playing the game for people who couldn’t before. Don’t condemn anyone for spoofing, the game gets stale and maybe spoofing helps.

Needs to happen . Have a local spoofer near me that takes every gym in a 5 mile radius within less than a minute. It’s really annoying and I gotta travel outside my local area to take gyms.

We’re talking about fair game here, when some people have access to a gym and 3 pokestops from there home, while my nearest gym is 2 subway stations away and the nearest pokestop is almost 1km away, this game was never fair since the beginning

The issue is that not everyone has the same experience playing POGO. If you are in a big city your experience will be very different from a rural area. Saying everyone has a level playing field without spoofing is wrong. This game is dependent on where you live. There is no such thing as a level playing field in this game.

I don’t spoof and I don’t care if other people spoof, but my local POGO community does. It is like a witch hunt here. Any spoofers are ostracized by the community because they are cheating, but my community will condone other forms of cheating. Such as multi accounting, phone rockers and other apps that increase your walking distance, and logging into other player’s accounts to catch hundos. These things also give other players an unfair advantage.

This want to ban spoofing because it is cheating, that is fine. It is their game. By that logic, they should ban everyone using the methods listed above for cheating too.

This game has never ever had a level playing field and it’s Niantic’s direct fault. They need to auto generate pokestops and amp up the spawns in rural areas because the difference based on where you live is like night and day. Urban player’s bags overflowing with PokeBalls and more spawns than they could ever catch, infinite field research, and the chance to actually use their free raid pass while rural players desperately scrounge for items and carefully consider whether every ball they throw is worth it or not and maybe one pokemon spawn every couple hundred feet while missing out on field research with rare rewards and now paying a premium for remote raid passes because Niantic hiked up the price.

I’ve been a pokemon fan since I was a child. Why should I miss out out on what Pokemon go has to offer with rare mythicals, pokemon, and easier shinies all because the contract was given to an awful company that doesn’t care about rural players that made a fundamentally unfair game?
