Coming from a content creator that has the resources and connections to play whenever and wherever they want. Seems a bit funny. Also funny how they sell devices that catch and spin stops for you.

I don’t spoof and I don’t like it, in my eyes it’s straight up cheating. BUT I understand why many people argue for it: playing in rural areas sucks. There are no spawns, no stops, and any resources you get from a trip into the city are basically useless.
Thinking about it, the best thing they could do to combat peoples perceived need for spoofing is give a way to earn coins without gyms. That way, incense is renewable, meaning spawns DO occur in rural areas for a time, pokeballs are more plentiful from the shop, and people have access to remote raid passes for the big raids. If they changed NOTHING else, I believe having another source of coins (even if it’s the same limit of 50 per day) almost entirely removes legitimate reasons for spoofing.

😑I think Pokemon go was released quite a long time, coz of bugs, lags, and not paying attention, just finding every way possible of making money. For these few reasons and many players already quit with time.
Also most rural players started spoofing and urban players kept playing coz of extra advantages.

Spoofing makes the game boring as hell, being able to go around to collect Pokémon is much more fun cause you can easly go and look around the areas your going to

What if you use a virtual location for work? Will they flag you for unnatural travel behavior (even if you aren’t playing during that time) since they see your gps history?

Spoofers are helping keep this game alive. We aren’t hurting anyone. Those who hate spoofers are just salty and jealous that they either can’t or don’t spoof. With gas $5 a gallon and living in a rural area I’m not driving around looking for Pokemon and stops. You talk about unfair advantages and keeping the playing field level while players like you and Mystic7 can just hop up and literally travel to any country you want. That is straight hypocrisy. If I had the kind of money y’all had I wouldn’t need to spoof.

Honestly im not a spoofer,
However the events Niantic makes sometimes region locked that a LOT of people miss on, its incorrect, same with the comunity day timer, i speak for myself, the 11 – 15 time ~ (I think thats it) should move to the middle of the afternoon, also, im part of the group that works on weekends making it most of the times almost impossible to enjoy
I love the fact that i mark locations as exploration.
It kills me to see that the comunity i had locally is almost non existent, i know someone i shall not name, that has all full shundo pokedex, and lvl50, giving him the “brag” rights, which for me is just silly, but there is no punishment,
Also the same person begins comm day at Australia, spoofing, then moves to middle of Europe, and then US, for the maximum time for the shundo hunting.
I want to keep playing fair and square but Niantic even took away the free weekly remote raids.

The way the game moves, sadly, its to motivate cash flow, not fairness.

i am a new player to pokemon go i have heard of spoofing and planning to try it out for my own gain bec my country does not have a lot of pokestops and gyms so i am planning to try spoofing to have better chance at pokemon shoud i keep try it out ?well anyway that my exp for better rate in spoofing😅

What’s unfair is having 3 insanely good new Pokémon’s spawn in 3 different parts of the world, that you have to pay for… no to mention the tons of people who live in less populated area having little to no poke stops/gyms, or how the game is basically set up so in time you HAVE to pay for the game to increase storage/Pokémon bag, or how people getting to pay for the game in general or can pay to travel to other countries for these events are WAY more at a benefit than the rest of us.. if anything spoofing allows us to level the playing field out more… if everyone has access to it then we all can do this thing incase we cannot travel to other countries just like these big YouTubers can… this app was built to benefit the upper class, and people who live in highly populated areas 🥱
