Well just as expected, after reading most of the comments it seems to me the community isn’t really that bothered about spoofers. The game isn’t really a multiplayer game anyway only in pvp raids etc so what other people catch has no impact on each others gameplay. If I knew how to spoof I would 100% Iv not been able to do 1 mewtwo raid as no one plays were I live or I could just spoof and probably get in lobby somewhere else so spoofing seems the right thing to do for me.

I am a rural player who lives far from a big city. density of spawns, stops and gyms are the most unfair aspect of pokemon go. I can’t currently control the circumstances of where I live so why should I only have 1 pokestop or spawn per 100 stops or spawns that an urban player has. That is why I feel no guilt for spoofing daily and for ALL of the ticketed events. If you can spend money and have all of these resources that I do not have access to I am going to do my best to level the playing field and make the game fun for me. I could care less about Niantic and what they have to say.

What advantage do Spoofers get? Pokemon Go is basically a single player game unless you go Raiding, then you need others in order to win 5 star Raids otherwise you are just wasting your time. And If there is an unfair advantage? Its people who play in Cities who get more and better Pokemon, massive amounts of Pokestops, and able to Raid all the time. Where I live? I have to drive in order to spin more than 2 Pokestops (Gas prices now make that impossible) or catch more than 10 pokemon in an hour, and people will only 5 star Raid during Raid hour on Wednesdays. Then there are the ones who can afford to travel for Fests that are out of reach for the vast majority of players. You can say Spoofers are ruining the game, but do not ignore the Elitests they are the toxic ones who ruin the game. Not only should Niantic allow Spoofing, as it opens the game up for more people, they can even charge for it and make more money. Niantic may be about their AR, but I don’t know anyone who plays using the AR camera mode. Pokemon Go is also about enjoyment, and the majority of Spoofers enjoy the game more, than they did before they were spoofing.

It would be cool if Niantic would somehow introduce a remote pass so we could join these special events around the world I wouldn’t mind paying a dollar for a pass that would allow me to spoof legally 😂

In all talk about fairness, is it fair to even have the coin system implemented in the game to pay for items you should literally work for?!? I like to play for free and making it easier for people with lots of money to blow on a game like this having way more Raid Pokemon and certain items from paying for it??? Just saying if you want to be fair take the coins away and don’t let people pay for anything BUT cosmetics. 🤔 That to me is an UNFAIR advantage. I can’t Raid like my friends with money do. I can’t do the GBL as much as they do. Fighting teams of legendaries is unfair when I have 2 and they have 200.

Don’t really care if people do it tbh. Can’t get on board with the idea that it’s unfair on everyone else in a game that’s pay to win. To me it’s no more unfair than people who are able to spend ££££s on raid passes

I was banned for 30 days FALSELY about 2 years ago (NEVER had a 3rd party app, never gave my info out, never even had the 7 day ban first, etc – 100% legit account). I tried to communicate with Niantic for the entire 30 days to try to answer my questions, fix it, look at my history, etc. All I ever got were BOT replies and nothing happened in those 30 days. Niantic customer support sucks big time.

maybe suggest to niantic to fix the incense and remote passes they offer now. i live in rural VT and incense dont work, i mean come on 8 month of the year its snowing, cold and rain. the little time i spent walking is at work, and when the incense is on, my avatar doesn even move no matter what i do. so of course it doesnt register movement from me or my buddy. this is just one example. as for remote passes again, in the area im in i do lots of remote raids, since the rooms get filled and have chances to get the bosses. now OMG, no discounts….frustrating.

IDE spoof if we get shitty ideas like the dieno event where you had to do raids, but you need 4-5 people to do it. Not to mention you payed to get locked out since not a lot of people plays the game in your area

without spoofing legit players will never be able to compete with “professional” players. People like youtubers get actually paid to play this game, and they reinvest some of that into their game. Without money or umemployement it will be near impossible to keep up with these whale. most top players also have alts lol

To all the people who say they only spoof because they are rural and have nothing nearby, I ask this question: do you ever purposely spoof to Pokémon that you know the IVs of in advance? Because legit players can’t do that. You say that you spoof to get on a level playing field with legit players, yet you easily get tons more 100% or rank 1 PVP Pokémon than legit players will ever be able to get. If you knowingly spoof to specific IVs or use features like automatic excellent throw, I don’t want to hear your lame excuses to justify your cheating. 🤣

tbh i think spoofing make the game playable for 40% of all players who live in a nowhere country or something but against botters fck them and ban them that is really bad like in every game. You can never play on the same level with the whole world focus on buggs niantic!..

Let’s be real only reason they are attacking this and not bugs it’s because it’s hurting their wallets… People now not buying pokeballs, lures, raid passes… Spoofing is not going anywhere as much as people wanna say it is, it’s been around since 2016 when the game came out and they’ll stay ahead of the game.. if you are smart you won’t get hit I know someone who spoof since 2017 in his main account never been ban or nothing still plays and it’s top pvp in the cups. Got to lv 40 before anyone in NY and still plays til this day you just have to pick a spot like NY and never leave, as for 3rd parties they have been saying this since 2016 all they did was ban those apps so players didn’t use them… And new ones came out lmao 😂 again if they ban all spoffers the game will die the game is fun if build right and not favor cities but have the rare Pokemon this the rural places allow trading world wide like the commercials

I agree and and happy with pogo spoofing, I’m sorry but it’s just unfair y’all get everything not including those who admit they spoof this is for the people who spoof and don’t say it which is a vast majority. I’m glad that their will be less spoofers making me feel my hard work wasn’t enough.

Ninatic never really cares about having a fair advantage, come on Billy. Just be real and upfront, it’s all about money, Ninatic doesn’t wanna lose them untraced dollars.

What advantages besides them spoofing to get shines is any different from playing where I am, look at the pros they bring to the community’s, they help the community by providing raids to those who can’t physically go to a pokegym in-person. Ninatic is just becoming a fail company, the only reason they are still around is because of the Pokemon fan base, not the company’s itself. Ninatic is focusing their time in all the wrong areas, why not try to improve on other aspects of the game which the community has addressed.

It’s because they spend their time focusing on ambassadors that don’t speak for the rest of the community, ask the community for their opinions not content creators.

I do spoof and I know I am wrong , I live in India and there is only 4 pokestop in the radius of 6 km and i don’t get to go outside much due to being underage and my parents doesn’t allow me ,but I play with spoofing without over exploiting the game I never catched a 100 iv using it or shiny with the features cause it is not fun and not good for the community I had only caught 6 hundo and 17 shiny on my own with just sticking to an area and walking around there using the joystick , I know these are just words but I am saying the truth and I know I am wrong , I started playing in 2017 and from then till 2019 I only caught a total of 450 pokemons without spoofing without doing any raids or anything cause I didn’t knew about it and never saw a gym . I can’t enjoy the game as other people it is okay I can’t get to raid good Pokemons it is okay I can’t get any Pokemon without a gym it is also okay but doing spoofing is not it is cheating but the niantic can’t make gyms in my area is also okay I guess
Edit: if I every get banned I accept it cause I accept my mistake of spoofing , I never showoff my Pokemons cause I know it’s all fake , and if I ever get banned I don’t think I will again spoof but if I ever shift to a city where is pokestops and gyns then I will start with honesty
