As someone who has getting gold on as many gyms as possible being my primary goal, I hate spoofers, especially those who don’t have any respect for the game. I can’t stand people who think that they deserve to be on a gym no matter what. It took me well over a year to get gold on a gym that I pass by a couple times a month because someone who I think doesn’t like my username kept kicking me off 10-15 minutes after taking the gym.

It would benefit niantic EXPONENTIALLY if they made a joystick version of pokemon go or even made it an option in the main game. This can be done in a few different ways adding an option and indivator letting all of your friends, gym partners, raid teams, battle leagues will show you use joystick or gps. Or make pokemon go global with a joystick and story based teleports and time delays for every teleport.

Niantic deserves every spoofer they get cause their game sucks and they do nothing to do it better. I don’t care about the spoofers at all. There are bigger problems than spoofers in the game.

It’s honestly startling just how many players are “pro-spoofers” in the chat. Has Niantic been greedy with their events? Yes. Are there regional exclusive pokemon that are hard to get without spoofing? Yes! But those are not good enough reasons to cheat in a game. How desperate must you be? Like seriously? Do you really NEED it to play the game? I think thats the level that the discussion needs to be at. Rather than trying to justify what is a very unfair playing tactic by spoofing.

I think spoofing is good for collecting,because in my City isnt much rares and Its too many regionals

I understand the mockery that some spoofers do, but some people live where there’s only 3 pokestops in their town and the poke spawns are little to nothing, plus the one gym that’s here spawns more legendary raids than normal raids making it hard for the player to complete the raid if there’s no one else helping at this gym. Spoofing for some is just a way to get themselves into a city like area where there’s plentiful pokestops and gyms with players that actually participate in gyms.

The game isn’t fair the way it is right now and if you think it is your part of the problem. If your not able to travel or live in a big city then the game sucks and is 100% unfair. Not all of us have the money to travel. It doesn’t effect the quality of the game for other players. And your mad cuz someone has more shinies then you?! More shundos then you?! Lol why do yall care so much about what other ppl have. We all play for different reasons, i get that. But this world is always crying about how unfair everything is to them. Well its unfair to me that i cant go to berlin. Why do I have to go outside to enjoy the game?! if more and more ppl are spoofing then maybe it’s time to make some changes. You start throwing all these bans around niantic will lose A LOT of money plus players. And for what?! To prove a point? Leave ppl alone and let them enjoy the game the way they intended it to be. NIANTIC IS A BULLY!!! I dont care who spoofs who doesnt, i just play cuz i love the game. Why ruin it for the ppl who arent as well off as others. These are just my opinions don’t come at me or for me haha

I spoofed during covid cause well…covid. then covid restrictions ended and tried to go back to old-school play and got bored fast. The game was better and I spent more time and money on the game when I spoofed, app developers were always working on new features and stuff which made the game more enjoyable, now I play on super rare occasions when a friend invites me or something. Otherwise it’s just kinda lame now.

This will kill off the game of the final fans playing. If I get banned after spending money on this game I wouldn’t bother to try any of their games again.
