If you use a third-party auto catcher you’re cheating. If you use a phone swing you’re cheating. If you have more than one account you’re cheating. I spoof because unlike you and all the other famous POGO players I can’t afford to travel the world and the country. I am hurting nobody by spoofing and I will continue to do so. Spoofers are keeping this game afloat. Not players like you. 👍

I’d like to see pay to win go away I mean 60 shunts because you can afford to travel for thousands of dollars that’s way more unfair then spoofing

The closest I personally come to breaking rules is using my old phone without a working SIM (the first phone I played Go on) to play using incense on WiFi while my current phone is charging. And its GPS wanders a little more widely than the main phone.

I live in regional Australia and I have to spoof because there’s nothing near me and I’m not gonna drag my kids too Sydney or any main city just too play Pokémon go, it’s not like I’m doing anything bad I’m just trying to catch Pokémon since there’s no poke stops near me and join in events

If players getting better spawns, Stops and gyms based on where they live or born I don’t think its fair to say its a fair playing ground.

As a person who never cared if people spoofed or not before this year, I can say they do have a negative impact on others experience. This spoofer decided out of nowhere to bully me for over a month with multiple accounts. This person would constantly search for gyms in the area to turn to my team color to kick me out of the gym in less then a minute, but would allow others to stay. They made multiple accounts making fun of my trainer name and lure up pokestops to make sure I knew they had a problem with me. I eventually just stop putting pokemon in gyms. I guess they got bored and moved on to a new victim.
I’m person that rather play PoGo alone. I don’t want any part of the dramas of communities.

Personally I’ve been spoofing for about a month now just to be able to play the game and this is the only means how. I don’t use any fancy features I just typically walk around. My son is on a ventilator and I physically cannot take him out without taking 60 pounds of medical equipment then it would be more focused on monitoring him, his oxygen tanks and overall everything else that a trayche and ventilator kid needs. For people that are in similar situations or is disabled, spoofing saves us. I try to give away a lot if someone needs something and everything like that. If I get banned, I might get upset. But overall I understand why, but it’s either miss over a years worth of content and not play or do this. I just personally love playing this game and if something happens I’ll continue to do it on a new account. I’ve been trying to nominate stops at my place but we all know how that goes. So I’m gonna try out to actually spoof my location to my house and then actually physically go to a historical like sign or something and take a picture and trick the game thay it’s by my house. It sucks im forced to do that. But we play the cards we are dealt

What do you mean by multiple accounts? Like I have my main account I’ve had since the beginning, and then a more recent account from back in Johto tour for just trading purposes. So would that be considered cheating? I don’t use the secondary account much. Just for trading when needed.

I don’t spoof, but I do have 2 accounts. I got the second because I’ve pokemon in a gym for over a month and couldn’t get it out, collect any money or do anything with it since it was “jailed” in a gym. With my 2nd acct. I can knock them and out.

Lets be real here for a sec. Spoofing was only created not to make Pokémon go a “joke” but more than rather giving those who need it an opportunity. Me for instance, i spoof because im not privileged enough to go travel on these global fests. Those who do have the money and luxury to do so and i hate to say this but when spoofing dies so will the game. We make raids happen and we are the reason Pokémon go hasn’t died yet.

I feel your very naive to why some people spoofe not all are bad but we are human we have life’s out side of Pokemon go that means we can’t play an event in our local time zone eg working 11hours a day 6 days aweek. I agree there are some bad apples that horde gyms.but most don’t. This is a Niantic problem maybe make it you can choose from x time to x time withen a 24h period that may stop some from doing it
