Wouldn’t they ban other things like auto catchers that trainer club,Daxi (gotchas) has promoted. The modified pokeball plus that Brandontan has promoted/uses. I’ll feel like they just are trying to piss off as many players as possible. Lol are they going to ban people who use discords too lmao.

I spoof myself, Not because im lazy but because i have to travel 30-40 mins to find pokestops ext. Not worried about my account becasuse i only play in the citys of my country. And i don’t take gyms because thats just annoying for legit players and im not that type of guy. I just really enjoy all pokemon games.

I and all my friends who play pogo spoof to get out of our rural yeehaw ass town and play in nyc. We’ve got 3 gyms and 4 poke stops in driving distance. Saying spoofers ruin the game is just such a brain dead take when Niantic ruins the game for anyone who doesn’t live in a big city or who doesn’t have the money/time to make big trips to Berlin or nyc or Sydney or wherever their next big event is.

Ngl, I spoofed & used a modified client to an area with more spawns, raids, players and pokestops daily, and got my first strike under their new system. Not worried about a ban, more worried about the longevity of PoGo.

I’ve played since 2016, but when I started spoofing during the pandemic, I had the most fun I’ve ever had playing PoGO. I didn’t snipe gyms, and wouldn’t TP to hundos. I was finally able to actually catch & earn stardust and participate in 5 Star raids. Just playing as close to legit in a better area.

I really feel that Niantic needs to be investing resources to CONNECT with their community. Niantic consistently fails to innovate and gives countless reasons to use modified software (unable to see S2 cells from Nomination map, lack of global trade, unequal pokestop distribution, unequal spawns, animations that add up to countless wasted minutes, 100 INDIVIDUAL TRADES a day vs bulk trading, NO QUALITY ASSURANCE – New Zealand is literally a guinea pig for any new features or events)

Niantic should focus on investing in growing rural and less populated cities with Pokestop. Wayfarer nominations sit “In Queue” for months to years in my area. You need to get well over a hundred agreements to even get one upgrade. Ironic that their money model is reliant on pokestops/gyms, but they use free labor to generate a majority of them.

Niantic should have dedicated humans on the end of their support line, especially when people spend real $ on this game (legit or spoof).

Niantic should have a social media presence beyond Twitter. I literally do not tweet and know a lot of players that do not as well.

Broken system for a $9 billion company. To your point about remote raid, I would be less inclined to spoof if many of these features were improved.

Niantic has not hit any multi accounters, defitters, or map users…

I mean they sponsor you tubers that use scanners for shundos on com day….

They are only hitting modified clients and or people jumping time zones in short periods of times. As of now anyways…

If they Bann all Spoofer the Game will die more Quickly than it already is. Yes in Player Events are nice but also so many spoofers Go There and if the Community in some Countrys die down eventuelly Other countrys will follow

This is my personal opinion but I think all the pogo content creators should be standing up for spoofers. Let me explain. A lot of people spoof and there are many reasons why, which I won’t get into. I personally will quit and never touch the game again if spoofing really does end and I’m sure there are 1000’s of other players will do the same. Less revenue for niantic, less views for channels like yours and every other pogo content creator. Please please please stand up for the spoofers!!!!

Note: to all the spoofers the hog gyms and insta knock out, please stop. If you choose to spoof please do so in a way that it will not harm others players experience.

Banning multi-accounters seems an almost impossible task.

Case in point. I use my account on a tablet and a phone. I use the phone when I go out walking and the tablet while in a sit down location because the screen is much bigger. Last year during Global Go Fest. One of my friend’s phone died. I let her use my tablet because otherwise she would not be able to play. Now, how can Niantic tell that this is legitimate and not a multi-accounter? There, are some households that don’t have phones for every single family member. How can the system tell this?

In addition, I would say about 30% of the people I play with have multiple accounts. A lot of the new features like trading, have improved the game, but they way in which it is restricted has kind of pushed people in that direction. And, the pandemic has exacerbated these issues.

Spoofing, would be much easier to address. Just run an algorithm that finds accounts with 1,000 plus hundos and a crazy number of shundos, Then, do a bit of investigating into the locations of those caught hundos. If they are getting something in Tokyo at 8:00 and then New York at 10:00, then it is pretty easy to conclude it is not legit.

I would say for Niantic, it is much better to address the root causes of these issues rather than treat the symptoms.

are they going to ban well known streamers and youtubers to?? or do we have to believe that those guy’s always are that lucky that the find the perfect iv pvp pokemon everytime..or the streamers who have like 10acc’s for pvp only.. probably not cause those people advertise the game!! this is unfair af and we need to stand up.

So Niantic wants to shoot itself in foot interesting would be hard to see those people who raid all day go. like talk about money gone I guess that’s why they charged 14.99 for Global and 52Erou in Berlin to make up for when players have to go. I laugh at Niantic seemed like this game is for people who are rich
