Niantic chose Easter for raids and they don’t allow for remote raids. They are doing their best to break Pokémon Go 😂

Really loving the negativity towards Niantic for making the game one where you’re suppose to get out and about… like it was suppose to be. Especially from the 90%+ player base that isn’t disabled, elderly or rural to the point they can’t play to the fullest. The player base got lazy due to a temporary measure and are now hiding behind the “what about the disabled people?” stuff. Get off your asses, get outside and meet new people. It’s amazing the people you can meet that you would normally not have crossed paths with and share a common internet.

We all called it. Spoofing is like a plague now. POGO had trouble catching hardly any beforehand. Now there’s way more. Then they plan an in person raid on a Sunday. A day when people all over the world go to Church until 11am/12pm and for some others, until 1or2pm. So already a bad start to picking Sunday. Now it’s Easter Sunday. A day when a lot of people only go to Church on Easter Sunday. Then those same people and non Church going people do Easter type stuff. A lot of them aren’t allowed to go do these raids. Being a minor or would get disowned by family for not spending all day with them. So people are spoofing. With making raids have a cap on how many can play is stupid. POGO should’ve known that people would start spoofing. I guess not ‘cause they think that the average player is elderly and doesn’t care about raids. If so, then why even bother trying to make raids a big focus for the game and making them more geared towards being in person since people don’t care about raids according to some POGO workers? Well, this proves that they’re totally wrong. Though the head people that made the decision on what was said about us players and what we want from the game, they wouldn’t want to back down from what they said, admit to being wrong, admit to us being correct, and that they should’ve communicated, listened, and took our advice. That’s never gonna happen, but most of us players knew that crap like this was gonna happen at some point.

Your lucky, I can’t even participate. I have to work so I get to loose out. Niantic doesn’t care. I have never spoofed and been playing since the very start, maybe I need to start now.
Here is a idea Niantic go after spoofers and leave remote raids alone.

I like how all of the POGO content creators that can do these raids are filming it. It clearly shows that you guys are the only ones there. Yes the radius isn’t that players have to be right on the gym, but if you are and you’re looking around to see other players and no one else is there or no one else has a phone or tablet in their hand that is there, then you’re the only one there playing. This is clear proof of the spoofing. I’m in California and with the last one, there wasn’t any spoofing at the gym that I went to and it was raining out. So it couldn’t be just ‘cause it’s raining out. It’s ‘cause of the day of the week and it’s worse ‘cause it’s Easter. How is POGO gonna address people calling out spoofing? It easy to see that people are. No one else is there, or no one else there has a tablet or phone in a hand. So the other tons of people playing aren’t there in person. I saw when you guys first looked in the gym and there was 10 players waiting for the raid to start, then it turned to 5 people after you guys were just about to join the 10 player group. Plus, you guys got to that gym before the egg hatched. So it wasn’t like that 10 player group got there before you guys did and then walked away from the location of the gym. You have the 100% proof of the majority of the elite raiders are spoofing.

So many You Tubers seem to hold back on criticism of Niantic. Your honesty and objectivity are refreshing. Also, I WISH I had knees that could hold that opening pose like you can — after almost 80 years of abuse, my knees are such that if I got down in that position, it would take a crane to get me back up!
