They earn more on spoofer than legit.
Spoofer still need to buy premium raid pads
I started playing the game this year. I live in a very rural area in Japan and yet I never really understood remote raiding. I don’t get to get every new legendary/mega Pokémon that comes up but I still don’t really get remote raiding. I understand that there are people that live in remote areas or disabled people but I still see remote raiding as paying to win but maybe that’s because of my experience with some people around me that can perfectly walk/drive around to try and find people.
I have 11 accounts I spoof on lol. I lucky trade pokemon to myself so I don’t have to spend money on passes since I get 11 free ones a day.
Spoofing can be good, after all there’s good spoofers, like the ones who help out with raids, but then there’s the gym hoggers and ones (which have been very common in my area and are a big problem) who use spoofing as a way to harrass other players, I’ve literally had spoofers attack gyms where I left pokemon just to kick my pokemon out of the gym, they leave others’ pokemon in there, but mine, in their stupid defective brains, are not allowed, there’s literally spoofers who use gyms to bully other players, and trust me guys, this is not just to me, I’ve had other players in my area suffer from this, and I don’t see it being documented, but from experience, it’s a real issue.
What Niantic needs to do, is make not just something that convinces people not to spoof but harsher punishment for something like gym hogging and other abusive behavior like what I already mentioned.
Now I know some people are gonna reply to my comment be like “No idiot, Niantic ruined remote raiding for us, we will spoof as much as we want.”, yeah you can spoof but that doesn’t give you the right to be a bully to other players, especially to those who don’t spoof, the world doesn’t revolve around you or your wishes, bud.
I’m not going to lie I’m strongly considering opening a new account to spoof because of the increase in price and the limit in remote raids I’m bored at work and can’t kill my boredom because of the limit and increases
Air support will be part of game. This is completely Niantic fault for the remote raid nerf. I understand for both side why they do it and don’t like it. If they keep the the remote raid the way they were and made exclusives in person raid and reward then the air support will may or may not increase. Also congrat on the milestone.
Man, i REEEEAALLLYY thought about spoofing. But I’d be devastated if i lost my account because of it.
I am indifferent on spoofing. Mainly becaue I cant stand PvP, and will only do it if required. I will delete any field research for it. If i have a paid quest i will do it only if i have to the level 43 quest where it was all pvp, i just did a friend battle to clear it all took forever! But, enough with that tangent. Spoofing will never go away. Even if you put strick log on requirements, it will never go away. The best bet, is do restrict raids in general, give a 5-10 limit to in person raids, and you will see it go away. But if thats the case no one will play in bigger cities. Best thing to stop Spoofing is to make a Raid check in system, and make an algorithm to monitor raid types, and where people are.
Niantic has a 3 flag system as of last summer
1. is a simple warning
2. 30 day ban
3. deletion of the Account if third party software is found
– they must of found a way around the system be still spoofing
Pokémon go don’t care !!!!
Pokémon go cares about the money!
Good. Break any and all TOS. Rooting for you guys as a former player.
It’s amazing Niantic hasn’t been able to stop the spoofers!!!
I use to spoof many years ago when it was free to spoof.
I don’t know anyone who plays, so I have no one to go out with. I relied on remote raiding (with The Trainer Club gang) to get any legendaries at all. Now that it’s limited to 5 per day, I’ve kind of lost interest in raiding. Sometimes when I play in Philadelphia walking to the train on Wed. nights, I can catch a gym with some people in it, but for the most part it hasn’t been that active there either.
I don’t think spoofing is a big issue because niantic didn’t make anything good for rural areas.
Dear Count Jinsula… I really appreciate the content you make and watch all of your videos without fail. But I gotta disagree on what you said regarding spoofers creating a “negative environment”. Back when remote raiding wasn’t even a thing, legit players in my community almost always relied upon spoofers to take down raids. They help legit players get their daily gym coins. They’re always at our beck and call whenever we need them for urgent trades and stuff. There are problem makers who keep attacking our gyms once in a while. But overall in my experience spoofers have only helped to enhance the gameplay for everyone.
yeah, i gotta spoof now. i can’t be risking the dollar or $2 to join a raid and not being able to beat the raid from inactivity. its rare to get more than 1 other player to show up for wednesday raid hour now.
Niantic gets what they deserve. Frankly if I knew how to spoof I’d do it too if for no other reason than to hit Niantic where it hurts: their wallet. Regular raid passes are cheaper which means spoofing saves me money, literally no reason not to other than Niantic wants doesn’t want to look like the parent that got out smarted by their children so they created rules to try and save face.
To be honest, spoofers are the D Generation X of Pokemon Go. The crowd wanted hero to defy the autocratic authority (name check Vince McMahon, now I know John Hanke somewhat rhymes) 😂
Yeah, I spoof on a separate device and account. Im not spending 2 bucks for each raid and not even guaranteed to catch the pokemon, thats stupid. Plus im not leaving ny house to do the 1 free raid a day and then still gotta pay for premium passes. Niantic are greedy af.
