The issue is, what about people that physically can not go out and go gym to gym, then you have people that are in area’s with very few gyms, which is the majority of the world, there are far more rural area’s than cities. Then you have now given massive advantage to people in cities in pvp also. I live about 10 min. from Manhattan and am physically capable, but it really just takes the game away from what I imagine to be quite a large percentage. You say you go to talk to communities, you mentioned all large cities, which again far less cities than rural, cities/population only take up 48% of the world, so this is making the game less playable for roughly 50% of people

Unfortunately Go is not the only Pokémon game. It HAS to stay true to the model of an live environmental augmented game. The remote raids remove that element and the Pokemon company knows this. All their other games serve the purpose of playing at home and is why they want to remove this feature. I understand the frustration but the purpose of this game is for you to run around in the real world not use it like a slot machine. Idk if they’ll every break from this model only time will tell.

With that of 6 remote raids a day, and stacking up, It will be a maximum of 42 raids a week.

Everyone plays the game differently and niantic shouldn’t block people from playing the game the way they want. Some people don’t have others to play with and remote passes are their only way to raid. Others have impairments which block them from going out and playing for long periods of time. You valuing playing with your friends in person is understandable but that doesn’t mean everyone should abide by those ideals

I live in a small town few gyms fewer players so just getting in a raid is difficult I sit at gyms going in and out hoping someone will join I started playing in July of 2016 took me forever to hit lvl 40 I’m lvl 49 now wouldn’t have been possible to be anywhere near lvl 49

I do like the idea of the 6 raids combining if not used, but it’s still an issue when trying to get enough xl candy to max a pokemon out because it’s so much candy to max out, even more for shadows, raid boses are only around for a limited time and usually dont come around that often unless t’s deoxys or the regi’s.

The problem is, that in my area there is nearly noone that does raids… only if i go to the inner city and only if there is a huge event there will be some raiders. Thats why I need remote raid pases to be able to raid at all.

Ill tell you exactly what I think about it – If these changes go through Im officially done with PoGo. Don’t care about how much money I’ve already spent on the game, I will be uninstalling the app immediately. I have a job in Finance that forces me to work until 6pm – coincidentally that’s when raid hour starts. There are no raids by where I live locally and the group I play with is a good 30 minute drive away. The only feasible way I have of raiding right now is getting invites from my friends. If these changes go through, raid hour for me is effictively shot. Niantic can literally go under tomorrow for all I care. This is the worst run company I’ve ever seen before. It’s like Niantic expects you to make PoGo your job. They want you to quit everything and just play pokemon go all day long. Do you understand, you morons running Niantic, that if I don’t work, I can’t make money to put back into your game for remote passes.

Then, if they increase the price of remote passes, they should increase the amount of coins from gym aswell. That would help people alot to go out, doing battles in gym, then get some coins.

Just do 2 local 4 premium and 6 remotes a day. That fixes the spoofing somewhat. Or limit to 12 total regardless of type of pass.

This is an L take in every single way Brandon. You say you understand then you tell an 180 argument. Many people that are doing remote raids dont want interaction with strangers, and it should be there choice. I love your content btw no hate. They will limit it at first then take it away completely. If this does happen the odds for shiny and hundos need to be much better. I will also quit raiding if this happens.

There will be no events that will draw players into the game again, because they are slowly taking away the good global events. Most people cant afford or have the time to travel to in person events,

Brandon I have ONE gym in a 25mile radius WHAT community am I going to see if they remove my only way of doing raids?!?! You need to open your perspective on the world and put yourself in others’ shoes
