Once again Niantic is trying to dictate how we play 😡😡😡 Not everyone is comfortable meeting people or even playing in groups. Remote raiding helped a lot of us get the new legendary and also they made some bosses regional exclusive. So this is the stupidest decision they have made so far 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎🙄

Thank you for also mentening the negativ sides of remote raids. I moved during Covid. In my old comunity we had a telegram group with remote raids a lot of people joint this group and if you said you will attend a raid you would get spamed with private massages from people we never saw before asking if you can invite them and if you added them and invited them and they didnt get in or you didnt invite them some of them got realy angry and wrote realy mean messages. Around a fifth of our community stoped raiding because of that. When I moved here there is no in Person Community. Everyone does remote raids. I only ever met people on elite raids. I asked there and they all said no we dont do in Person raids as long as remote cost the same. So it is realy hard to met new people or do trades. Which was one of the best thing on the game before Covid. So I thing nerving remotes is notte wirst since rual players still can do remote raids and hopefully the local communitys get strenger again

Great video as always Brandon very insightfu.l however as a player who has NO community this saddens me I’ve been playing since release and when remote raid passes came out it was the first time I got to raid with other players. Personally I think this is the beginning of the end for remote raid passes first they nerf them and increase the price and then keep doing that until they stop them all together. I genuinely think that 2023 could be my last year of pogo I don’t like the way the game is going and I honestly don’t think niantic has any interest in the player player base. Niantic need to look at how people play their game and not force us to play it their way. Keep up the great work Brandon much love

I also think that is a very privileged thing to set a bare minimum to do raids only with people presentially. In this same example of “one or two in loco and the rest remoting” neither the remotes or the locals would be able to take down the raid, because that’s what is really going to happen… not more people returning to local raids, only less people remoting, which means that those who did mixed lobbies with both types of players will too stop buying passes or boxes.

Remote raiding took out the social aspect of the game . The name is Pokémon go not sit at home and play . I don’t agree with you on the Las Vegas event if it was to be a meet and greet put in in a less expensive city .

First time ever I disagree with your video Brandon. I work 12 hr shifts I do not have time to go around the city like you do if they take away the remote raids that will basically kill the game for me. Its not even that bad for me think about the people living in extreme weather conditions/disabilities. Your opinion is only based on the community leaders and you yourself that disappointed me smh.

Brandon you have a point, however for most of us working class people with a regular 9-5 Job or Career the RRp is what a lot of us use to keep up with the game and if we can then Cday is what we’d use to actually associate with friends. RRP shouldn’t have any caps, Niantic need to fix what’s really broke n what us the community has been complaining about for the past 3-4 yrs and leave what we actually love

I understand where you are coming from but tons of trainers are not privileged enought to have stops and gyms all around them to go out and do in person raids. especially when we need 296 XL candy to get a legendary pokemon to lvl 50 for the master league. with a limit of 6 remote raids per day, this makes obtaining the XL candy nearly impossible unless we get the legendary for 2-3 weeks at a time instead of 1 week.

Sad this is coming tbh, when elite raids came out I was waiting hours at different spots for local raids.
No one came, back in 2016 there were hundreds of people at 1 place playing. Now it’s a wonder if you see 1 person out and about.
The reason for this isn’t remote raids, the honeymoon period was over in 2017 in my area for the game.

I’m sorry Brandon but that ship has long sailed. People will not come back as you & niantic and expect. It’s no longer 2016. People left pogo long before remote raiding was a thing. I myself came back after six years because of remote raiding. I’m personally more bothered by the cap. If this limit is implemented, people will not be running to in person events, they will stop playing altogether so it would make it even worse

This ain’t 2017. Oh boho I can’t meet random people at random gyms. This game ain’t as popular as it once was. They need to worry about fixing actually problems and stop messing with features that 12 people don’t like

I’ve meet and talked to more people with remote passes/discord then I ever did with in person raids. And I’ve also helped some rural kids complete their first five star raid with discord friends with remote passes. Also Niantic should make sure campfire is 100% open before doing this that way more people could coordinate meetups.
