Raid hour at 6 is such a bad time for so many people in the EU, I don’t know if that’s for others also but we eat at that time so it’s very hard to maken a trip outside when your food is getting cold

Limiting remote raid is good for the game. The main purpose of remote raid is during the COVID pandemic, and as far as I know many of us(players and non-players) can go outside and do everything they we want. That includes playing PoGo onsite. It serves its purpose and I think Niantic can limit it now. It’s very sad to play outside and seeing 1 or 2 players(there are times none) and sometimes it’s very discouraging to play.

When you limit it to 6 per day and/or increase cost of the raid pass then that will significantly decrease the number of raids per day. As a rural player who doesnt have another local player nearby I am very dependent on global community to help me with my local raid. If they are limited they won’t be available to join my raids. I am all for local community but global community is also very important. Time for a new hear us niantic. I have already given 1* to the app and I think all of us with grievances should make our voice heard by doing the same

If this happens the game especially for us in Malaysia, raids might just not be as active cuz nobody does raids here in Malaysia locally which is annoying

I disagree wholeheartedly, sorry. I get that folks are sad that not as many people meet up in person, but this change helped those of us who arent near popular raids or arent near any at all, not to mention for those of us in work or otherwise too busy to go out every day. Then theres the anxiety aspect, some folk CANT do groups so this will isolate them even more. We arent all content creators brandon lol, this isnt our job, its a game, and some of us cant play it 24/7.

I usually like your video’s but after watching this one fully. I can say I couldn’t disagree more with you. You live in a city in Singapore, where there are people playing. How about those people in small villages, where you cannot get 6-4 people together. I only have 3 people in my local community we cannot do a lot of raids because of this, so other people join us remotely. We lack firepower. If Niantic really cares about local raids, they would remove remote raids, and make normal raids weaker in rural areas so 2-3 people could do them instead of 6.

I don’t care about the raid limit, but the 50 increase in gold…. It means local communities will suffer. Because we lack firepower….. I would challenge you to play in a rural area, really rural…. Where there’s a village where 2000 people live and most people elderly. There are people that remote raid, because there’s no one around. And you could say: ‘If these are nerfed people will go out….’ But I am in a gym for 16 days sometimes….. So how many people do you think play here?

Very well said sir. On thought I had about this. How about having 6 per day basic, then for every in person raid you complete thereafter allows one extra remote raid in that day. Incentivise in person raiding?

I think another way to look at this is financially. A lot of players have complained that Niantic has been getting pretty stingy and greedy this past year. If they are behaving that way now while players can buy and use an unlimited number of remote raid passes per day, how are they going to behave once remote raid passes are limited and their income is reduced?

Im not going out and wait for people to come to the raid in a town where no one is interested in participating. In my country (the Netherlands) the game is just not as popular as Singapore/Japan/US. Think about the smaller communities bro…. I don’t have the time to go out for raids I have a full time job and other obligations. You know what Niantic should do? Every in person event should be held in every country. Why should I fly to the US to meet the community? Why not just hold an event in The Netherlands so I can meet the Dutch community every year, why do I have to fly to the US for that? Doesn’t make sense.

I think that since 2018 Pokemon Go is a lost game, Niantic completely ignored the changes that need to be made (for years) and every now and then they make the game worse…
A few of the biggest changes we need are: A new UI because it’s really bad, new battling system and a logical pattern for events and raids because the game doesn’t need an average of 14.5 events a month (including spotlight hours that no one likes and stuff like this).

50% nerf to damage, limited to a certain number per day, and more expensive…

It’s way too much. We don’t know how much this will hurt the game but for me it would certainly push me to free to play. I live in a small town, there is no in-person raid community anymore and they will not come back with this change.

Well thats suck whats the point i playing po go if they put that damn limiter. I dont care about higher price, but the damn limiter is the most useless feature ever for me

Edit: my area not many people play pokemon go and not enough firepower and also dont have much gym nearby. My friend also just use remote raid to farm legend and mega raid.

I only want the remote raid bec I have the chance to play when I’m off from work (from different timezone). Otherwise, there’s no way for me to play. But yeah, perhaps I should have quit long time ago, instead of forcing this game to my very busy schedule.
