放浪者は雷電将軍と同じで肩書に過ぎない。真の名前は別にある。
スカラマシュはタルタリヤと同じで執政官としての名前だからもう彼は名乗らない。
国崩も過去のものだ。自分探しの旅の途中、放浪者はそんな印象。
きっといつか自分に本当にふさわしい名前を見つけられることだろう。

ここで男の子が話してる物語だけど、
アンデルセン童話に出てくる『しっかり者のすずの兵隊』だと思われる。
しかも原作の主人公である兵隊は材料不足で片足を失くしている。つまり”完璧な人形”ではない…。
元の話もとてもいいので是非参考までに。

Created by the Goddess of Eternity as her puppet double but was cast away due to not being able to fulfill that role. Abandoned, the puppet wandered in search of some meaning to life and purpose. He started off meeting a young boy and learning about having a heart and he hears of a story where a toy who feels for a dancing girl before he was thrown away to be burned. Eventually the puppet finds the home of that young boy in flames for reasons not known. He at first laughed at the fragility of human lives yet felt hurt by the boy’s passing. Later he met a young swordsmith who learned the way of the craft who he befriended until that swordsmith’s greed and ambitions got the better of him. Eventually the puppet found his way to the Fatui, those who despises the gods and sought the end of their rein by whatever means possible. The puppet who was created and forsaken by a god found their goals align and for a long time worked with them as equals until he got his hands on the mark of the god who created him. With the great power of lightning on his hands he sought to become a god himself and as such he along with Dottore set food on the land of knowledge that had stagnated due to the loss of their god and had forsaken the god who had taken the old one’s place. Using human ambition and desire for greater heights to their advantage, the puppet was ever closer to becoming a being of great power as he was meant to be. However, despite being so close to achieving his greatest dreams, the people of the land of knowledge fought back, saving the god that was forsaken and with the help of that god and her herald, his dreams of godhood was crushed. As the mark of godhood was slowly taken from him, he reached out to it while still attached to the creation that allows him to have divine power. In his efforts to reclaim his godhood he fell to his death. As he died, the puppet had only one wish, wishing he had a heart, but also wished he could die nor wished he was born into the world.

Unbeknownst to the puppet though, the Goddess of Wisdom had other plans for him. Whether it was out of pure kindness or pity, that goddess had for some reason granted the puppet a new lease on life. Now no longer a puppet but also no longer having a goal or purpose, he is now a wanderer searching for a reason to live and truly understand what it means to have feelings and having a heart.
