“Once four… no, three reckonings have been completed, the truth of the celestial sphere will come to light.” That part drew my attention. What mystery did we solve? Did we solve said mystery or is there just no longer any reason to solve it? What part of the Extra Class system has changed recently so that we no longer need to worry about it? When I thought along those lines, a hypothesis occured; According to what Andersen found in the London Singularity, the original Servant Summoning System created by the World only had the seven Grand-Class Servants. The Extra Classes didn’t come into being before mages copied the system for their own use. Therefore it stands to reason that the Extra Classes don’t have Grand-class containers. However, thanks to ORT’s shenanigans in the Seventh Lostbelt, that has changed; there is now a Grand Foreigner in the Throne of Heroes.
It’s the only change in the system I’ve noticed, which could mean that our next job involves crowning three more Extra Class Servants, which would include understanding the system on a deeper level (and in Nasu lore, to understand a thing means to destroy the Mystery surrounding said thing, bringing it closer to Humanity cognition and thus making it less of a threat.)

Even acknowledging the fact that the Extra Classes in and of themselves aren’t the problem, and that it’s the commanding of Extras specifically that’s the problem, I think this is incredibly stupid. The Einzberns commanded Rulers and Avengers, and even if they lost the HGW, they didn’t get banned from PHH. Alter Egos aren’t even technically part of the Holy Grail system as far as I’m aware, so a human commanding them should be outside of the rules anyway; it shouldn’t matter. If this had been about Novum Chaldea being tainted by the use of Lostbelt Servants or just existing on the bleached earth for too long, I think it would’ve been fine, but this having to do with the use of Extra Classes is just bad writing imo.

Maybe PHH rejecting Fujimaru because of the Cosmos Denials could have been a cool twist (judging Fujimaru and Novum Chaldea to be too dangerous to allow back into PHH).

We’ll have to wait and see where this goes. I hope they’ll take it in an interesting direction, but for the moment I’m a bit disappointed.

So… Do you all realize that Romani basically confirmed that We (Meaning Mash and our Avatar) are Counter Guardians right? Or at least part of the Counter Force. We cannot even rule that Ritsuka isn’t a foreigner class entity too, because we can use (and abuse) of servant classes that are impossible to summon for normal Humans. Even then, we cannot disregard the chance that Prometheus did affect us more that we knew in Olympus.

Not really buying the explanation: If the usage of the Extra class was truly the case, we wouldn’t be able to clear part 1 (Goetia arc). Even back then we already could summon and use Rulers and Avengers. And up untill LB 5, the counterforce was summoning hordes of servants, even in some cases specifically to help us (noveau Chaldea). It feels so sudden, coming out of nowhere with the only purpose of stretching out the story. (Or more likely so that Nasu has more time to write out the final arc of part 2). Besides whatever we did pales in comparison to what CHALDEA did: 7 apostles, summoned as extra classes and merging them with divine spirits as well as the “Alien God” debacle. PPH is now just playing favoritism with CHALDEA and kissing its boots.

The part about the unknown Master being able to utilize many servants in Traum, the mention of substituting/switching person A & B without the subjects themselves realizing, the timelime of Guda’s arrival on Chaldea, and Guda’s suspicious response at this whole thing.. is it implied that subject E is actually the other Fujimaru? Is that why there’s male and female version of them?
