The last part of the solution for puzzle 8 is wrong. The blue box is supposed to be picked up from a different position.

38:35 : There’s a way to skip this whole section on the upper floor : once you retrieve the blank cube behind the green barrier, go change the yellow cube into red in the main room. Now, get back to the blank cube and turn it to yellow with the teleporter nearby. You can then teleport the cube out of here without using the whole upper section. That’s how I solved it first and was confused why there was a big part of the level I had not even explored, lol.

That whole puzzle 6 is stupid af. I messed up by changing some cubes and had no way to change them back so I would need to restart the whole thing while I was at the end of the puzzle basically I ended up just uninstalling.

I watched this because I had accidentally skipped puzzles 8-11 by glitching through a wall. There’s no level select so I couldn’t go back and play them. I had thought I skipped maybe one puzzle. I didn’t realize I skipped four!

Thanks for the upload ! I’m managed to work my way through the DLC up until puzzle 11, where I think my save got a problem : at 1:07:50, when I reactivate the gravity on the floating block, it just stands on the green barrier instead of going through it. But I got to experience the ending through your video ! I really loved Alami’s character, probably the biggest highlight of the game.

some “solutions” are so obscure, they ruin the puzzles for me. the physics sometimes makes no sense at all (same setup, different outcomes) and the game gives you absolutely zero feedback when you need it the most. especially for a game like this, the rules need to be absolutely clear, otherwise the player spends his time making random guesses because it’s unclear whether something is supposed to work or not. you need to be able to solve these things in your head. it shouldn’t be necessary to repeat the same thing many times to see if it’s possible in game. if you had the correct idea, the game needs to show you that. if your idea is wrong, it must *clearly* not work.
but in relicta, things often barely work (or don’t), so the player is often lost in an ocean of maybes.
not a single time i looked up a solution did i think “oh, I was so stupid”. it was always “wait, *that* was an option?”. the game simply fails to present the rules and sometimes hides relevant puzzle elements or how they are supposed to be used. sometimes the rules change without any notification, like when you’re suddenly required to micromanage a floating cube (until thast point you always only had to set things up correctly in advance)

There will never be a puzzle game as good as The Witness again, but after playing this game, it’s still fun to figure out the solutions, and often times, you can get creative and solve these your own way. Definitely had fun, even if the puzzle difficulty is not as hard as in The Witness.
