I looted the military base the other day. Two crawlers. First one I simply stood on one of the sand box barricades at the entrance. The crawlers can’t stand, so I had all the time to shoot him at me feet.
I raided the police station and bought along some logs. Set up a small log spike barricade inside the police station hallway, most died to the that as I was looting.
I think making some barricades when looting larger towns helps make a safe spot you can retreat behind and assist with killing them..
Where is this place that it gets 117 and below zero?
Not sure if anyone has mentioned, you dont have to harvest crops right away. They wont start deteriorating until they are harvested. Ive had plants fully grown for over 2 ingame years. Just harvest when i need food so I dont have to worry about veggies going bad on me.
Maybe it’ll be the best when the bugs, audio inconsistencies, bad melee, generic building, annoying learning system, and bland map are fixed. It’s more annoying to play than anything else. 😮💨
There’s no reason to conserve ammo, atm hordes are way too simple and easy. I wish they’d give the AI variants so they didn’t just all do the same thing. This game is really good but difficulty/AI needs work and I wish there was more stuff to loot but less of the same stuff in every container. Some poi’s have 100+ lootable containers but only 6-8 different items. It would be nice if tools/weapons were mostly looted in pieces like rifle stock, barrel, firing pin etc etc or sledge head, sledge handle. Bullet casings, bullet tips, gun powder. I dunno but I enjoy the chase hunting/looting for rare parts to build something with a pay off. This game starts exciting with looting but loses that spark pretty quickly. Once you have preferred gun and melee weapon then none of that is exciting to find again. The books are another problem, they should be a 1 time read and be rare. Can’t level to level 2 in electrics till you find level 2 book. It’s silly that 1 container can have 20 books that let you max all your skills then next box has 10-15 more books. Excited to see where it goes.
the big white warehouse where you did the oil setup.. there’s a bunch of solar panels
im verry tempted to get this but my system can only run it on minimum with this still being in early development could the game out run my pc ? ram is my issue atm as i only have 8 gig .
Show hoard night
@Kage848 been really enjoying the series. and i remember you saying steel isn’t to come by too easily. what about using a steel melee weapon up until its about to break and then dismantle it? would that help replenish some steel?
Can you do do animal husbandry on the game?
Did you put a roof on the horde base?
For all peasants crying about “wHy Do yOu FilM HoRdE nIgHTs blablabla”. If you don’t like it just skip it, stop complaining.
@Kage – Set up a thermal power generator, use the coal to fire it up, turn on the oil pump…and get Oil. It produces oil very fast, you only need it on for a few minutes then you turn it off.
@kage848, another great video man!!!! Keep the horde night, it’s unpredictable.
Just found out about this game, totally came out of nowhere for me, looks awesome the way you play it, I plan on getting it for me and my friend, it’s only $16.99 on steam right now!!!
What are the specs of the PC you are using?
There are steel tools at the boat.
*KEEP HORDE NIGHT!! It’s only going to get tougher and rougher! I don’t want to miss shenanigans lol especially in a new game like this one. At some point the developer will boost the mobs and that’s the day I’m looking for so PLEASE KEEP HORDE NIGHT!! Kthx big preesh!*
To save you credit in the long run, you get a 25% discount on items traders sell if you have your rep with them at 100%. Goes a long way for those costs on the 300w solar panels!
It was late spring and -33 Celsius, for me!
Pretty damn cold and I froze to death, even in the car with clothes on!
