I also love the main riff very much. The whole band sounds so jazzy and funky. Much more than Candy does these days (unfortunately now without Jan van Duikeren on trumpet and flugelhorn)…… But Candy is still a tremendous soloist.

I liked the flugel with the quotes from caravan and Roy Hargrove’s original solo but personally I don’t like the smooth rendition of a song that’s supposed to be upbeat and is about a paris train station. It doesn’t capture the mood of the melody line and takes the funk out of a laid-back funk song. Also the rhythm section did nothing to help the song.
